Well for a dwarf I think it going to be more then just size thats going to make it difficult for a romance with Iron Bull, I mean just saying, I cant imagine the size of his &%$#@ and the poor dwarven woman trying to; well I think you get the picture. lol 

There really is no reason to think qunari schlongs are are any bigger than human ones. If anything, they might be smaller, as there is at least some selective pressure on bigger ones in human society (that is, some girls prefer bigger dicks, **** big-dicked guys, and have big dicked offspring). Qunari have controlled reproduction; you don't choose who you ****. I doubt they factor dick size into that. If they did, I imagine they would favor smaller dicks because big ones get in the way.

 

But, I'm applying real-world science to a fantasy game.

 

Male Dwarf gets Dagna. Female Dwarf gets Varric. Those are guesses.

This seems probable to me.

If Iron Bull is romanceable i fully intend to romance him with a dwarf. For comedic value.

I think the whole idea of race gating romances is a bad idea to begin with if you want to romance Cass for example you would have be plsy as a human

I personally always play as an elven mage but back on topic myabe Varric will be a romance

If the animations are such a big problem, I wonder why they can't just fade-to-black for some romantic combinations.

As such, either the animation problem persists throughout (not just for one or two specific romance scenes), or the romances were race-gated for reasons other than animation.

"Race-gated" just sounds like some 1920's eugenics speak to me for some reason.

Then Sera and Dorian should be also race-gated since there will be size differences.

 

You know there are couples in real life with a size difference.

I dont care who is locked out, so long as the companions make jokes about the pairings. I want to hear jokes about 2 Qunari looking horns when they mate, and does Iron Bull lower his head and take a running start when he does it with his qunari partner. Who brings the Crowbar and Chains? Does Female Qunari need to be locked in a stockade when Iron Bull mounts .  There better be lots and lots of dirty jokes!

I doubt half let alone most of the LIs will be race-gated period, let alone against Dwarves. The only one I see being blocked is Iron Bull if he is an LI since the size difference makes it hard to animate. 

 

Nope, it's been confirmed that everyone has the opportunity to ride the Bull in DA:I

So I am getting kind of scared about this talk or race playing a part in who we can romance. Whenever this happens Dwarves always get jiped. Just sayin please don't lock them out of most of the romances...

 

If you're on PC I give it a total of 3 days before moders mod away all restrictions for Race and Gender anyway so it’s only people on consoles who will be "jiped"

Frostbite 3 is not a modding-friendly engine, so this may not actually be possible.

 

However, now that we know dwarves can #ridethebull I am no longer worried. I doubt they'd gate both of the race-gated love interests against dwarves, so at the most dwarves will be missing out on one out of eight.
