I did Garrus' personal quest in my final save in preperation for ME2. But when I spoke to him afterwards, he didn't talk about Saleon and tell you his conclusion (in my case, the paragon ending) - he started talking about killing Saren once we've found him. Does anyone know if I should go back to a previous save - a good five hours ago now - and kill Saleon again and see if I get another conversation, or if it'll just transfer regardless of what Garrus says (or doesn't say) afterwards? If I try to talk to him now, he just says "Commander, good to see you".

I think he mentions it after a certain point, either after a main story world or after you've done a certain number of side quests.

I've done a whole bunch of side quests, but I've still got Feros to go before I'm off to Virmire, my last pre-Ilos planet. Thanks a lot - I'm halfway through Feros, so I can just finish that and see if I get it then.

The last part of the dialogue is only available after you've finished at least 3 of the main quests.

you do want to get the bit of dialogue where he confirms the he either goes back to c-sec or not, i think that's the one that matters most with him
