I'm having a bit of difficultly doing that. As I didn't have any previous imported saves to import my decisions because all my previous saves were on my Xbox and I just recently purchase this ME3 PC copy, I decided to make use of the Gibbed save editor in order to have all the appriopiate past big decisions made.

For the most part its works but I've had trouble getting the romance for Miranda flagged for my character. I input the id code 5209 under the manual bloon and set it to true at the very start of the game, which I believe should have set the romance for Miranda into play. However when I've gotten to the first meeting on the Citadel, that wasn't reflected on with the conversation with Miranda.

Does anybody have any suggestions of any other tools I could use to enable this or if I'm using the wrong ID code to enable this romance or something else? Would be muched appreciated thanks.

Sorry if wrong area to post but I didn't really see any subforums more appriopiate.

you can't start a new romance with returning ME2 characters in ME3. the romance has to carry over from ME2. that's where I believe lies the key.

you can alter the variables on a ME2 save to make the romance carry over to ME3 or to erase a ME2 romance - but you can't do what you want.

All I know, is that you shouldn't start a new game using Gibbed, and what I mean by this is that you shouldn't create a Shepard directly from Gibbed. Not sure if you can actually use Gibbed on a save that was started in ME3.

I was trying to make the game recognize that I had romanced Miranda in ME2 with gibbed saved so that it would reflect a romance Miranda in game in ME3. Are you saying its not possible to alter a new game to where it would recognize a miranda romance from ME2?

I started the character in the actual game first, than edited my choices in gibbed right after the game officially went into the first prologue mission. Everything has seemed to work aside from my romance for Miranda (and the arrival DLC not being counted but not a big deal).

Ha just did this with my soldier play through today so i post what i did an i got the dialogue working fine first time i meet her, i did do it first opportunity i could save the game though so basically on earth just after reapers attack

ID 5209 Romanced Miranda BOOL true

ID 3304 Broke up set False

INT 266 is the Romance state, set it to 5

i also set the following dont know if it made a difference

3351 to true 3629,3630,3631,3632,3349,3350 all to false, should put all normandy crew from ME2 to saved/alive

I also set Bool 1456 to true. that says you played Me2

The Arrival DLC should just be a tick option under the ME2 tab in plot, you know thats worked when at start anderson says somein along lines of "blowing up the batarian relay" blah de blah when marching u to see the council or whatever there called lol

That worked. Thanks alot. Saved me alot of trouble.

I ticked that option for the DLC at the very beginning but its not reflected in the war assets, nor was it reflected in the beginning. Not a big deal though. Just lost war assets and one dialogue option. The romance thing was the big thing for me.
