Do you think we'll be able to alter our companion's personalities? In DA:2, a rival Sebastian (not sure if romance-only) will shun his super Holy Man views in favour of retaking his lads to be the Prince you deserve.

And in Origins we could harden Lelianna and Alistair to pretty much completely change their personalities.

So, yes, Inquisition? Everyone seems a lil' "goody good" to me, I'd love to make Dorian fall back into Tevinter's beliefs, or have Cole embrace his killing side... (Yes, i'm a bad man, I know)

Anyone else have views on this? Maybe you'd like to change people for the better? Make the Iron Bull stop his spying and join the army or something?

I wouldnt expect any major changes, cassandra wont renounce her faith or anything...  at most we get bull to quit the qunari, but he was heavily leaning on leaving anyway, at least from my understanding.  most of the companions seem to have their minds made up about things, but the most i see happening is maybe softening their stances on issues a little, but not completely changing their views

I can see Iron Bull being one of those characters who you could push towards embracing one ideal (Qunari) or the other (Tal Vashoth). Cole also sounds like someone the player will have a lot of influence over. And Cassandra seems to have shifting world views, so I could see her being a "harden" option ala Alistair/Leliana.

But the rest seem like they've made up their mind on what's important to them.

We'll probably be allowed to make an attempt in swaying the opinions of our companions during critical decision making points. Other than that, you most likely won't see Dorian, for example, shifting gears about his views on Tevinter because they already appear to be thoroughly ingrained in him. I suppose some companions are best left with their personalities intact.

Not really, creating a characters persona takes a while, and to have that characters personality change just undermines that hard work reducing the quality of their unique personas. I wouldnt expect anything drastic
