This is not the first time I said this but I really think (and hope!!) Morrigan is a secret /temporary companion. But who knows, DA2 didn't have secret companions and the party in this game is big enough already.

With our luck it will be race-gated for romance, which is probably for the best.

This is an awesome idea but I wouldn't get my hopes up. Some of the previews for ME3 made it seem like old squadmates would join your squad for certain missions but that didn't happen until the Citadel dlc. I'm holding out for a secret companion though because Loghain or Death's Hand joining the party at the 11th hour was awesome.

And his/her face has been covered in acid, and wears a mask, since there is no appearance stats going through DA Keep.
Naw, just recreate it through the DAI character creator like we'll apparently get to do with Hawke.

Shale - somehow she just seems to be involved in everything.
First, I crushed mages for Wilhelm during the war to oust Orlais!
THEN, I helped the Warden crush pigeons...err... darkspawn!
AND THEN, I traveled with Wynne and made funny quips and smashed a whole lot of everything.

Stanley Woo will return in all his glory as the secret companion of DA:I. He will wield the only spear in the game, which shall be called: THE LINE. He will stick enemies with the end of it. And yes, he will be a romance option.

Aliistair will have trouble fighting, since the whole being executed thing. Ooopsy. I'm really curious (Off topic) who actually makes the better leader of fereldon Anora and PC, PC and aliistair, Allistair and Anora, or just Anora or Alistair (Hardened and unhardened) by them selves. Hmm...
