*sneaking in during lunch break* Argh.... I'm so feeling like Bartha here... Cute men *everywhere* >< And the guy who gave us a tour through the product lab yesterday was really, really cute and of course had to mention to me that he had recently been on a date (so most probably single) and I could of course contact him for another tour some time, cause he had plenty of time anyway... I'm not like this at home, stop it hormones! It's not like the US is around the corner... *goes back to a corner, feeling ashamed*

On the other hand, the US is *not* around the corner, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the time while you're here. And maybe get a free cup of coffee out of it while you're at it. You go girl! ![]()

DO not feel ashamed for having hormones, enjoy it.
Besides, it's just the corn that makes Indiana men look like that. ![]()

Fair enough, but it's not like I'm on holiday
And it's not like I'm some interesting exotic XD (My colleague is at least British... I just have a stupid Germanic accent...)
Edit: and it's not like I'm slightly flirting now via the IM.... *cough*

Hush. You don't know what it's like for we Americans (Or rather THIS American, I should say.
) Any accent that's not southern US is exotic and hot sounding. You just don't know. ![]()

Oh yeah, Germanic accent = hotness. Never doubt that.

It looks like Riftsburn can't post. I told him tomorrow I'd get on his account and post in random threads to see if that helps. ![]()

Even when he did the thing Kerridwyn did? Ew. Well, post random stuff for him!

Alrighty... tomorrow (Saturday) will be my last day in the USA (yay, you're almost rid of me
)... so has anyone any tips for me regarding quick 'must sees' in the area between Warsaw and Chicago? We won't have much time, as our flight departs at 4 pm and we'll have a three hour drive from Warsaw to Chicago anyway... We were considering to visit an Amish market, but figured that we would not really have time for that... and please don't say 'go to a shopping mall', as I already have to find out how the heck I'm going to stuff my suitcase XD (something with going to carssons (or how do I spell it?) and my manager pointing out the special 'black and yellow dots' sales...)

If the Amish Market you're talking about is in Shipshewana-if you actually get a chance to go to the town, the market isn't that big a deal this time of year, but the Blue Gate Restaurant has really good midwestern food. ![]()

So fyi: I'll most likely be off the radar for today, as I'll leave the hotel in 15 minutes and will be traveling around for the rest of the day
I'll pop up again somewhere on Sunday, when I'm back home.

And I'm going to be off the radar for most of today as I have to go in to work for a while and I've got my tabletop group going tonight, but I will be available all day on Skype tomorrow.

Anyway, I'm back home, and should probably head to bed soon (sleep is so overrated). Feeling not too well emotionally, so not going to post too much. (Amongst others: both the ill shelter rats have passed away during the last week, and when I came home I noticed that one of my own rats has a cheek abces, which pretty much means that I'll have to let her be humanely euthanized probably tomorrow
aaaannndd... some more issues and doubts poking around in my head. Not going to bother you with it though.

What Tracie said. Also, do whatever you have to do to take care of yourself. Changing time zones plays merry hell with your brain chemistry.

Glad you made it home safely, but sorry to hear that your shelter rats didn't make it and your own rat is sick. *hugs* Take all the time you need.

Finally got Riftsburn's issue sorted so he can actually post. (Not that he will much, I don't imagine. I'm the talkative one.

You'll have to tell me how you did that so I can get John's account sorted.

It was easy. I posted in two threads. One was in a fan art thread, one was in a Keep related thread. ![]()
Edited to add: Then he was able to accept his invitation to join. ![]()
