In total other news, I guess... The servers had issues yesterday and today (hard time sending and receiving mails, phone went black for a few hours, getting access to your documents on the computer... good luck!), so I got a bit bored... and as Mr Cute wasn't online, I just decided to send him a mail, asking for more product information... Nope, he's definitely never going to get it, but that's probably only better, lol. And found his facebook page (nope, not sending a friend request... ), sadly enough hardly any pics I can see... the only ones I can see are hunting pictures   I feel a bit like a stalker now, though Oh well, I'll probably get over it soon enough... I'm so bad at this... I guess I'm still stuck in the 'behave like a 15-year-old'... as I've kinda skipped that whole period and am still very inexperienced and insecure when it comes to these things... heck, been single for over 7 years (from 19 - 27), and now again for 1,5 years.

Day one of the Fallfest is DONE.  I am *whooped*. Catherding can take a lot out of a person. Tomorrow should be much more smooth, and awesome.  I take lots of pictures, if anyone is at all interested, I can show you folks a couple probably Monday (Not sure I'll go through my camera before then).

Saw this in the Blackwell thread, and it made me think of some of our guys' antics.

 

[Riftsburn]

*walks in witha confetti canon,Turns it on and walks out*

*whistles for the gnomish mimes, who completely fail to appear*

 

(grumble, grumble)

 

*shakes fist and looks for the broom*

*walks in turns off machine and pulls it out of the way whistling *

*gives up and sets up a model train set in the drifting mounds of confetti*

 

All we need now is a tree!

* walks in with an oak tree sapling and put it in the middle of the train set*

*hangs strands of popcorn on the tree and decorates it with tissue-paper ghosts and black cats made of construction paper*

 

Hot cider and donuts by the window!

*makes some failed attempts at getting the confetti out of her hair, then gives up and starts to nibble on a donut instead*

I said I'd post some pictures from my weekend, and so I shall. One of the highlights of my weekend was the fact that a fellow Cullenite from twitter (Her username is Johnene) came from Ohio to meet me and chat about Dragon Age. Of course, she got the Cullenite Discount.

 

Also, Ruth, Riftsburn got a picture of the fife and drum guys before they went through my booth.

 

The same weekend is also a Civil War days-a battle gets reenacted, they set up camp all weekend about a mile outside of town. It's really cool. Some of the soldiers were in town for a small event-some speeches (including one from President Lincoln!), and things like that. Then these fella's marched right out of town, and directly through my booth. Was sort of surreal, really.

 

It was a really good weekend.
