Thinking today I might make an alternate Malkizid and see if he walks better on the balor animations. I kinda like the chicken walk he has now, but it could be better, or at least different. We'll see.
Got just a few more days left to finish this stuff up, and I am very happy with what I've done so far. The group this month has made some very great contributions! If we had more active artists, and more months where the project really inspires people, we could make a great game so much more intensely great, really fast!

@ Shemsu-Heru - Very nice to see something Egyptian turn up in this month's CCC. ![]()
Had a dig around that website and found this:http://www.3dmodelfr...els/26708-0.htm Not a creature, but certainly something we've not seen in NWN much before.
Some very nice stuff this month. Would have loved to see some sea or ocean-related deities or try my hand at something shrine-related.... but work got busy, heh.

@ KlatchainCoffee: Unfortunately the model referred by yourself, have an enormous quantity of vertices, it would be very complicated to integrate in NWN.......

Sorry - I've been prowling about in the bushes, pouncing on stuff...
Back now to NWN; I've been killing more gods by applying colossal bricks to them when they least expected it...

This one's more a bleached bone look than the earlier, stony, fossilized ones. Was going to dull it down a bit but I quite like it as I is. Blatantly, it's the exact shape of a Spleen.
Also had a very silly idea... Dead Gods as Skyboxes.
Have conducted unethical experiments. It looks... OK. Ish. A bit... I'll throw a few more bricks at it and then post an image, see what you think...

It's probably way too late for this thought but... I just realised that there is a comparatively fast way of making a number of egyptian gods - heads. As many of the deities of this pantheon are basically animal heads on human bodies, all it would take to make many gods & goddesses would be to make the requisite heads (Horus = Falcon, Bast = Cat (her son who's name escapes me had a lion's head), Anubis = Jackel, etc.).

@Tarot Redhand: In my MOD "Shemsu-Heru's Egyptian Armory" I had made some masks (helmets) of some Egyptian gods...

New Super Malkizid Deluxe

This one is using a modified nycaloth animation set. I moved the shoulder armor to the other side due to casting graphics making it look really dumb. His armor is now more regal, as it should be for a devil lord, but still dirty. No, he isn't blue, he's gray, but the caster trying to take him out is casting an ice spell. The wings are modified from Kayle from LoL, and attached to a modified balor wing bone set. They are also set up to cast shadows now too. The wing texture is from an actual bird image. There is a small amount of animation mistake in the legs, but I've tried to minimize it as much as possible. His legs were just not 100% compatible with the balor leg animations. He's lost the movement in his right hand fingers since the balor model does not have fingers. But in all, he's a lot less chicken-like now. The wings are on-model, so they perform as expected for the balor/nycaloth model animations, not the dynamic wing animations which are unworthy for this creature type.

This is just an experiment... A rubbish one.
I've proven to my satisfaction that there's no reason you can't create Dead Gods as a Skybox. This example is, as I say, a bit rubbish, cobbled together badly from assorted sources including forensic photographs of a decayed ribcage which looked really good and now ends up looking like some bits of old packing tape...
But it proves the principle.

If anyone wants the rubbish thing, I'll throw it in, but there's all sorts of stuff to be pounced upon here, so I haven't really got time to refine a series of Dead God Skyboxes for this month. Some time maybe...
Just a final note, in case I didn't mention it; this Skybox is a bit rubbish.

We've got a plankton bloom here - well, not HERE precisely, but offshore - and there are some BIG Basking Sharks coming in.
Jumping into the sea with Enormous Sharks takes precedence over (almost) every other activity there is as far as I'm concerned and so I'm bundling up this month's stuff and sending it in NOW, since it's then time to scramble to the boat and go and sit a mile off the coast surrounded by thirty foot gargantuas paradoxically devouring creatures so damn small you can't even see them...
So, you get:-
Kali, (the goddess herself), plus a Creature model of the Kali statue.
Two custom swords, Kali's own plus an all gold one for the statue version - set as fifth and sixth options on the BioWare Scimitar 1.
Kali statues in two sizes plus a vacant plinth for use with the statue creature model having vacated it, etc.
The Hindu Tantric statue.
Fenris Wolf Creature.
The new Dead God model plus the old Dead God models I did for Doctor Who last year (haven't had time to update them, sorry, but they're not dreadful as they are) If they don't "count" for this month, TAD can throw them away into a bottomless pit somewhere.
Plus the rubbish Dead God skybox.
Heads seaward.

Well I enjoyed the modified Kayle wings on Malkizid so much that I decided to put modified Shyvanna dragon wings on Gaulguth. I like them so much I think I will revamp Aulmpiter and Wendonai with the same wings.

Malimshaer
"The nycoloth in charge of gathering information and planning surprise attacks for the Army of Darkness. His missing right eye did not affect his duties in the slightest. Malimshaer was known for slaying a black dragon and subjugating the dragon's horde of orcs."
I've added a charismatic purple gem into the eye socket of his trophy codpiece. I can just imagine him telling a black dragon "I will rip off your head and wear it as a codpiece!"
I may go a bit further and replace the clone of Aulmpiters' axe with a sword, possibly fashioned of something a bit darker. Since he commonly shape-shifted into humanoids to gather information, I imagine he would want something befitting a rogue with only two arms.
I had also thought about the gem perhaps being an added seeing device since he is physically handicapped, yet shows no signs other than physical that he has impaired vision.

Sending mine in right now. I think I am out of time this week to poke at them, though I wanted to to more character customization on each. Enjoy. I'll post them separately on the vault soon.
Edit:
Just in time too. Looks like I will be starting a nights and weekends job, so model making may be off the menu for a bit.

Thankfully I've got a backup plan I'm going to save in case the video game one ever gets chosen that came from this topic, but I'm out for this round
One day I will get together all of my incomplete stuff and try to make something functioning out of it...
EDIT: I am going to try to get one of these blighters out at least.

I had in plan to make the Felurian from the King Killer series. However I wasn't able to do any more than stupid reskin. Its not even that different from vanilla nymph at all.
Basically darkened/contrasted skin, green eyes changed to blue, hairs colored to dark purple and thats it. The butterflies you see at the picture are added as placeable because I didn't figured how to add placeable with animation into creature model. However, the model supports tail and wings so if you have CEP2 you can add butterfies as tail or wing which should have the same effect. Or add pixie dust as an VFX... It uses vanilla nymph portrait, if anyone can make new portrait feel free I am not going to continue with it I think. Basically treat as draft - if this inspires someone to make a proper and nicer Felurian I will definitely support that and remove my lame version.
I had Ctaeh in plan as well but my modelling skills sucks and I have no idea how would I do this so I abadoned that, basically builder should suffice with just any tree and a conversation anyway.
BTW, when lookign for inspiration images or possible portrai images I stumpled upon this page. There is some cool stuff that, maybe it inspires you, check it out.

Yes. This weekend, actually. Real life and CEP have been distracting me this month, but I've got the files downloaded and have been working on them the last couple of days.
