For our party members, we can spec them as we wish, correct? Meaning I can make Iron Bull, Cass, and Blackwall a tank, since all of them have the sword and board spec. I can also make them 2h dps since they also have that spec available, correct?
Same for Sera, I saw in one of the videos she can do dual daggers or bow.
I am hoping that I can make any of the mages into healers.
...What about Varric? Hard to imagine him up front and center with daggers.
You can do all those things! It is apparently possible to make Varric use daggers as well, though I think that's considered a sin in the eyes of the Maker.
