I absolutely love her. 

 

One thing I hope happens in game is hearing her chat with Solas. They both sound so interested in the SCIENCE and theory of magic. It'd be fun because I think they'd both talk and talk and get more excited as they do.

I admit I'm also insanely curious as to what happened with the free circle in Orzamar if you helped her. A chantry free circle..the effects must be interesting.

Do you think the Chantry did something about it? The epilogue implied the Chantry was thinking about an Exalted March, but I wonder if they actually did anything about it.

anyways, seems like we will be able to get dagna as a lower tier asset, kinda like some of the war assets (kasumi and other former characters) in me3

I actually got the Orzammar Circle slide even with an independent circle... I think it also happens if you choose not to help that Brother Something-Or-Other dwarf open an Orzammar Chantry?  I did have an 'epilogue slide fix' mod installed though, so, that might be why it was different...  Since it seems they retconned a lot of those it may not matter either way.

No I remember the slides, I'm just wondering what the effect in inquisition will be.

Considering Viv is a circle enchanter it's certainly possible. Maybe her talents were needed in Orlais. Then again we are going to Ferelden too. It's a pretty good chance we will see her at either of the circles.

Well she did publish a study, and her epilogue said she completed her studies at the circle, so maybe she left to pursue her research at other circles. If I recall correctly, doesn't the one in Cumberland have a MASSIVE library or something?

Hopefully she'll keep a bit of it despite 10 or so years of ageing.

There's a Dagna thread!  Yaaaaaay!  None of my Wardens have ever been able to resist helping her.  Even my canon anti-Circle Surana helped her.  She is just TOO ADORABLE.  I really hope she's actually in DAI and not just a name.  Having Dagna as a major player in DAI would (slightly) make up for the lack of female dwarves in DA2.

I know they have.  I'm just trying not to get my hopes up in case of disapointment.  Dagna is one of the characters I found most interesting in DAO because of her undwarven interest in magic and the fade; and her quest is something I've been hoping would impact later games.

If they bring the mechanic back in DA: O where certain characters teach you specializations maybe Dagna could teach us the Artificer specialization. That would be a good reason to include her I would think.
