I like Dagna, but I wasn't aware she was a goddess.
Well considering some of the actions she might have taken (according to the epilogues) she could very well be deserving of paragon status. Which is pretty much the equivalent of being a living goddess. ![]()
Only time i have ever heard it mentioned was today and several weeks ago.
People were talking about it on the twitter and romance threads a few days ago. Ericander77 posted a romance chart that included Dagna under the 'please, please, please" section. That's kind of what got this thread started. ![]()
By the way, glad I could rekindle your love for Wallace and Grommit, they hold a special place in my heart as well. ![]()
I think it would be neat if one could miss out on things in later games if one does not complete a quest or does not do so correctly, such as not taking Dagna to the circle. It would be neat if her skills are inferior if she didn't go to the circle, or she isn't an asset at all.
I dunno if inferior would be the right word. She's still of the smith caste, and clearly very intelligent. I'm certain she would have developed a few good tricks is she's stayed behind. I think the difference would be what types of technologies she's better at innovating with, one wouldn't necessarily be inferior to the other.
I love Dagna for her enthusiasm for knowledge and learning, and it would be a crime to "put her in her place in the smith caste". I'm glad she's going to have a role in DAI and I'm looking forward to meeting her again. However, I would find it inappropriate to make her a romance option. Also, being an LI limits possible developmehts for the character involved, so I wouldn't want her to be one for that reason as well.
How does being an LI limit possible developments? Not that I wouldn't be alright with her not being LI (though I would like that), her character has lots of ground to cover without a romance ![]()
