She thinks it's romantic (or something) when Hawke kills the Arishok, regardless of Hawke's gender. I mean, it isn't a whole lot to go on but it's something.
Also, wishful thinking I guess. ![]()
I personally hope she's bi, lol.

I think she meant that in a poetic way

Ah, well I heard a couple people say she thought it was romantic in a non-poetic way. Been a few months since I played that scene, anyway,
I should look these things up before I post

I don't care whether she's straight, bisexual, pansexual, or shieldsexual. I just hope she's available to my elf mage Inquisitor. ![]()

Well I'm decently sure shieldsexuality would rule out an elven mage.

Yeah, in context, she meant "romantic" as in the genre of medieval literature which generally involved heroes having epic adventures and so forth. The meaning of the word has become a bit warped over time.

Other than Sera and Dorian, we don't know anything.
As much as I love Sera, I sure as hell hope Cassandra is bi.
Do I think she will be? I really don't know. Human only? That seems overly restrictive and a little silly.

Personally, just how she reacts to a female Hawke during Varric's telling at a few points. I honestly can't recall specifics, sorry, but that was the impression I came away with. As if she was crushing on my female Hawke.

I don't know that people think she's bi, so much as hope. Personally, I'm planning to romance her as a male for my first playthrough, so it doesn't matter too much, to me. However, she seems like an amazing character, and I might want to try romancing her as a female later, so I kinda hope (just a little bit
) that she's bi, too. I really want her to be available to male dwarves, though, because I'd really like to play a male dwarf warrior for my first playthrough. Otherwise, I'll have to change my character to fit what she's looking for ![]()

I don't know if anyone thinks she's bi. A lot of people would just like her to be, so she's more available as an LI.

I don't think anyone "thinks" Cassandra's bi. I think a whole lot of people hope Cassandra is bi. There's a difference.
I'ma flip some tables if she's human only, though.
Pretty much. Also, a lot of folks aren't willing to take a kiss on the cheek she gave a male mage ~20 years ago as concrete proof that she's straight. If she is hetero, there's going to be some disappointment, but not a lot of surprise.

Why do people think Cassandra is bi
Because she’s sexy as hell and her not being available to women would be a giant ***** tease.
Also, because I suspect that she was planned as a romantic interest way back in DA II when they were doing all bi, and if she was planned as an LI from the start she wouldn’t need gender/race gating to free up zots for romances.

OK, here goes. There are groups of people who hope, *hope*, that Cassandra is bisexual. What gives them that hope, we don't know anything about her sexuality, including her possible lack of it. She could be straight, bi, gay, pan, or even asexual and purely interested in a chaste relationship. Truth is, we don't know *anything* about her sexuality (only that she had a "relationship" with a male mage a long time ago) and next to nothing about the rest of her.

Well I'm hardly an expert on the workings of shieldsexuality, but it does stand to reason.

I personally think it as more a deep appreciation for a female Hawke. She seems like the kind of person to appreciate a female character in a story making a name for themselves, as if they remind her of herself.

I prefer Cassie to be bi as well, though I wont be too surprised if she is straight. There really isn't much to go on one way or the other except a kiss on the cheek and hero worship of Hawke.

Yeah, I agree. While it has been clear that in most cases a female *can* do whatever a male can, there are female warriors and rulers and chevaliers, few females do. She probably sees a femHawke with a kinship of sorts (as I imagine she would with Aveline).
