Why do people think Cassandra is bi

I think people keep forgetting Vivienne. What if she's the straight female option? So that straight guys get 2 female companions anyway.

I actually hope that Vivienne is not an LI. Having every female member of the Inquisitions "round table" acting as a possible romance or a possible romance in a previous game would carry unfortunate implications about female characters only existing to serve as romance-fodder.

That goes for scribe girl and others too until we get confirmation.

There's a lot of assumptions flying around based on 6 li and Cullen announcement meaning scribbles is more likely than Vivienne.
If it shakes out that viv and cass are both options then yes one could be straight and the other bi and fairness across companion orientations would be there.

I'm 80% sure she's straight at this point.

Not counting Sebastian, of course.

Oh, him? I guess so.

Meh. I didn't miss much with him anyways, since I don't like him . Lmao. So I didn't mind that he was Straight instead of Bi.

DA2 is the only BioWare game where things have been fair and equal. I'm just saying that there is no guarantee that she will be straight.

Maybe but I'll judge them if they abandon equality which they had in the previous game and was the reason behind the previous approach.

There is no evidence that she will be an LI, so people are working on what they know rather than assuming.

Of course it's assumption, nobody talked about facts. I think we'll get 2 bi companions (male/female) as well as NPCs.

You know, I have always been in the camp of "Vivienne is not a romance" and nothing so far changed my mind about that.

We already have something that will fall into the "breaking the Ice Queen" trope with Cassandra and Vivienne comes off as all business and materialistic. She's not going to engage in a relationship unless she gains power out of it. While the Inquisition might be able to give her what she want, she doesn't need to sleep with the Inquisitor to get it...

Leliana isn't romancable, like Aveline. Your argument is irrelevant.

Sebastian made it also not really fair and equal.

But it would be great if they would eventually make a game where things were fair and equal.

I think people put too much stock into the numbers and ratios of romance options. Bioware could make a game where the romance options were perfectly equal for everyone, and I could hate every single one of them. I'm sure there are guys who would gladly only have one romance option if that option was Sera.

Bioware are never going to produce a completely "fair and equal" game, because you are never going to give everyone multiple romance options that they like. When you throw things like NPC vs Companion romances into the mix it only complicating things further, because then "equality" also means equality in terms of quality of the romances, and quality is subjective.

With race gating, I wont be at all surprised if Vivienne and Cassandra aren't both LIs.

You're mistaking fairness for personal preference. What's fair is having the same amount of choices with the same amount of content for their plots. If you like the other side's choices more, that's not unfair, that's just unfortunate.

Really ?... . In Mass effect 2 we had Tali, Miranda, Kelly, Jack, with previous Lis from Mass Effect 1 like Liara and Ashley.

I guess you were soooo upset ?

In inquisition we have only three female companions.

Sorry sandal. You are fabulous and I was so very wrong for doing that.

*Twerks*

You are forgiven. Let it not happen again, dearest, or there shall be consequences.
