Why ? I don't understand I thinks she's straight and for humans only

Sorry, that would be a crime against humanity. Especially as we can't mod the game like the previous DAs.

Cassandra is going to have to be available to all and sundry.

Because she’s sexy as hell and her not being available to women would be a giant ***** tease.

Couldn't you say the same of Sera?

I just... I love your penguin :). Kinda made my day.

Aww, I'm glad to hear that.  Penguins are one of my favorite animals, and IRL I'm a hugger.  So I like to use penquins hugging to show appreciation when I can.  One friend of mine on the forums, anytime she's feeling down, I send her a penquin hug.  Cheers her right up.

Oops, sorry about the derail. I really hope Cassandra is bisexual.  I would enjoy it because it would be nice to romance a lady warrior.  I haven't had my chance in the DA games yet to do so, and I want to see what Cass is really like under all those walls.

And she's available to women.

You are saying that it would be unfair or a "tease" to make Cassandra straight.

What I meant is that Sera seemed to be the preferred romance option for male gamers, and yet she was made into a lesbian love interest.

In other words, Bioware clearly has no problem teasing players.

I had no issue with Sera being female only. I play both and various race/class combo's. One I will do just cause of being very new is the female Qunari as the first option. I want to see how that is, what happens and hear how her story is played out. Seen the other combos of races in past and will play the next as elf or human but she is my first.

No, I said it would be a ***** tease.

Though on reflection, there are some men with a *****, but that's okay because I think Cassandra will be available to men.

Feel free to bring that up in the Sera thread. This is a Cassandra thread.

Cassandra, who is totally bisexual because her being straight would just be wrong.

(I'd like to quote all of you, but I'm afraid of text wall, and falling asleep. Moving on....)

I'd like to point out that these romances were decided and created before their character models were probably finalized, and more importantly before we were even aware of their names.

BioWare's not teasing anyone, they just make too many pretty Inquisitor characters. Complain about that! :P

No seriously, don't.

Fair enough. Anyways, I apologize if I was coming off as rude. That was not my intention.

Suck the fun out of my fangirling.

When I say that Cassandra not being available to women is a crime against humanity, I am being less than serious. It's something I have wanted since DA II and am hoping for.

No, her being straight would not bother me.

Yawn. I'm not complaining about anything. I was merely pointing something out. I don't even plan on romancing a character in DA:I. Yeesh.

LOL   Hey! He is too sexy, so is she!  That isn't fair!  :D

Sorry, yeah Cassie is a cutie and I know she will be straight for males or bi for both. Sweep her off her feet?  Swooping is bad.  :)

Because teasing is bad?

BioWare does tease, so your argument is flawed.

Maybe she really is shieldsexual, so you have to play her shield in order to experience her love.  :o

Seriously, it's like my very first post on this page.

Specifically, I'd like to direct you to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Here is the relevant paragraph:

"Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to romance Cassandra because she is hella hot or change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief or love of Cassandra in teaching, practice, worship and observance."

Maybe she really is shieldsexual, so you have to play her shield in order to experience her love. :o

Dear Cassandra, please slip your hand inside my straps and batter me against a metal gate.

I kind of wonder how different things would have been if Cass was the lesbian. I still think all the men that wanted to romance Cass would have come out of the wordworks much like the dudes that wanted Sera.

So Caladin, you say straight but proven wrong too many times means she will be bi then?  ;)

While I agree with thinking she will be heterosexual, I don't think she will be race-gated.

I'm hoping she's straight. Mainly because every clue from da2 or dawn of the seeker points to the straight side. Though I suspect she could be bi. Putting the npcs on the straight table solves the whole "female characters get stuck with the npcs" thing...
