I honestly watch from sidelines. I pick and play each gender/race so I will see the romances regardless. Now few get too carried away, I prefer not repeating some of it.

I had no issue with Sera being female only. I play both and various race/class combo's. One I will do just cause of being very new is the female Qunari as the first option. I want to see how that is, what happens and hear how her story is played out. Seen the other combos of races in past and will play the next as elf or human but she is my first.

I do, ultimately i respect Biowares decisions but why make the only nonhuman female companion off limits for men? I just think that decision was one that shouldve been avoided.

According to Allan, the only reason Sera is gay is because Luke wanted to write her as a lesbian.

Noooooooo.  That has more impact on things like race gating.  Representation, however, is something different (and something I know I value a lot more).

 

Sera was made a lesbian because we wanted to make her a lesbian.
