I wonder how they would handle Isabela's hair in DA:I? Would she have a buzz cut, scarf covering the entire thing, or just go bald?

Oh, I didn't mind DA2's artstyle all that much. I just don't think it did Cassandra any favors.

Cassandra is love and love should be shared with everyone.

Let the female fans - who seem to like her more than some male fans - have her.

Let's avoid broad statements... some female fans like her more than some male fans, but that could literally apply to anyone.

They'd most likely cover up her head like Leliana.

True, but so far, atleast on here, i haven't seen a single female who said she looks too manly or ugly. While not all, I have seen quite a few male posters who claimed she was ugly or too manly.

She seems to be more popular among the ladies on here. Though, she ofcourse also has quite a large male following (myself included).

I'm not trying to generalize, just stating what I have seen.

I've seen more people who think that she's more likely to be straight at this point. And I have to agree.

As for what she actually is, we'll find out in due time. I'm in the fortunate position of not particularly caring either way.

People banking on her being straight are mostly basing it on the fact that if she were not straight, then that most likely means that straight males would only have 1 companion romance option (a Bisexual Cassandra) and 1 NPC romance (presumably Scribe Girl).  Many people couldn't fathom such a scenario because that would mean that straight males would, for once, get the "short end of the stick" even though they are getting the same number of options as everyone else- which wasn't the case for gay players in DA:O or any of the ME games.

Cassandra could very well be Bisexual. There is no real reason why she or couldn't be- not due to her looks and not due to her companion status.

I don't think anyone "thinks" Cassandra's bi. I think a whole lot of people hope Cassandra is bi. There's a difference.

I'ma flip some tables if she's human only, though.

everyone is race Blocked

If Cassandra is straight then males still only have one companion and one non-companion romance option, so I don't see your point.

She could be bisexual, It just seems to be less likely now that the characters in general are being more open about their sexuality than in the previous games.

I think they mean if Cass was bi, then straight males only get 1 companion LI while gay women get 2 companion LIs.

Count me among those who would be unhappy. Abandoning an approach that provided equality to all to one where as you put it straight players get the short end of the stick in regards of companion romances would be despicable IMO.

I think people keep forgetting Vivienne. What if she's the straight female option? So that straight guys get 2 female companions anyway.

I'm also still honestly of the opnion that the romances when released won't be fair, but everyone will get a choice.

There is no evidence that she will be an LI, so people are working on what they know rather than assuming.

That goes for scribe girl and others too until we get confirmation.

True. But we know there is at least 1 NPC romance(Cullen) so it is less of a jump fr people to think there will be a female NPC counterpart than to think a companion will be romancable.

DA2 is the only BioWare game where things have been fair and equal. I'm just saying that there is no guarantee that she will be straight.

Not counting Sebastian, of course.

In DA2 she Varric accused her of having a crush on Male Hawke. The female version was subtler, but still the same meaning underneath.

Sebastian made it also not really fair and equal.

But it would be great if they would eventually make a game where things were fair and equal.
