Well, okay then. To be fair, you know very little about Vivienne. We've just gotten snippets of information about her. Aren't you doing exactly what you are pissed about by judging her based on first impressions.....?
Also, there is still Scribe Girl, who we know very little about. If she is an LI (which I tend to think she will), she will almost certainly be available to straight guys. Plus, Solas might also be an LI. So, if that pans out, you'll have two options (one male and one female).
I hope so.

I hope I can at least slap Vivienne, like you could Morrigan. Though I never slapped Morrigan I liked her.
I hope so.
Plus there's a possibility of Blackwall being a straight romance option too. I'd stay hopeful until we get more information. It seems a bit premature to be freaking out about options when they have only announced four LI's (and the sexuality of only two of them).

Yeah. You're right.

Shhhh, Blackwall will be ours and ours alone... ![]()
Rivalmances are more fun anyway, and I'm looking forward to having one with Cassandra as a ''Magic exists to rule over man, not serve him'' kinda guy. If that means the relationship is doomed and I'm forced to kill her by the end of the game, so be it. That would be different. It's not like the Morrigan romance had a happy ending. (before Witch Hunt came out)

Do we even know that Vivienne is romancable?

Wait. I can slap Morrigan?
TELL ME THE DIALOGUE OPTION! TELL ME THE DIALOGUE OPTION!
(let it be known that I have nothing against Morrigan; I just really like slapping people)
You know, you are allowed to have differing opinions from your significant other. No two people are going to agree on everything. ![]()

It's a mod. The Slap Morrigan Mod. (I have it.) You get +5 affection when you slap her to counterbalance all the affection losses of a goody two shoes party.

An issue like the Mage-Templar war isn't something you can have differing views on and still have a cordial relationship never mind a romantic one.
You know, you are allowed to have differing opinions from your significant other. No two people are going to agree on everything.
Yeah, I love it when I have a different opinion than my husband. How else can I be the one who's always right?
Half of the available romance content in DA2 worked on that exact premise -- "the opposites attract" and all that 'hatemance' jazz.
Well it was da 2... everyone was stupid or insane.

It's a little bit amazing that Dragon Age 2 has been out for so many years now and people still think this is what he said.

What he says is "Mages cannot be treated like people. They are not like you an me." Two separate statements.

If you can't treat someone like a person than they are not a person in your eyes.
There should be a brothel in the game. Seems to be a BioWare tradition. Otherwise, I don't think you'd get your wish the LIs, not without one of your partners calling you out for it. I doubt that there is going to be a "Geralt" type series of sexual adventures throughout Thedas.
The brothel sounds like a good option.
I mean, they have dwarves there too. ![]()

I'm fairly certain that they will have a brothel in the game. Both Origins and DAII had one.
I just hope that the "surprise me" option returns in Inquisition.

That's not necessarily true. What he said wasn't that mages aren't people, but that they are people but it's too dangerous to treat them like everyone else.

That's also not what he said, but he said they cannot be treated "like people." He did not say "cannot be treated like you or me," but "are not like you or me." The depersonalization is exceedingly clear; he does not think of them as people, otherwise "like people" would make no sense.

I never understood the one with the scarecrow and the pumpkins.
