I was wondering because when I pre-order ODST from Best Buy I never got my Sgt Johnson code.
So I dont want that happening again for Mass Effect 2.

The sgt johnson code was a gamestop exclusive. Pre-ordering from best buy gets you no pre-order armors....sorry

"Per-order"? That implies everyone's getting it; it's in every copy. Now, "Pre-Order" is a different story.

Yeah, I'm being a douche. It varies from retailer to retailer. Some will email it to you later, others will send it with the game, others will hand it to you on your way out of the store.

With Best Buy, it's when you pick it up. For ME2, picking up the pre-order at Best Buy nets you the Inferno armor - which doesn't seem too bad.
At least, that's been the case with just about all Best Buys I've pre-ordered from.

Direct2Drive (IGN) offers a separate 'pre-order download' with all the pre-order content that they offer.
