So do the console versions of the games have anything like the console commands?

The Answer is a fairly obvious no,though its a common misconception among console gamer's aside from a x86 based APU they share nothing else in common with PC's, to even compare then to a PC is a stretch, they use a very weak low power APU designed for portable devices like tablets and smartphones, the hard drive is a terribly slow 5600rpm unit instead of a 7200rpm unit that has been the defacto standard for over 5yrs for mechanical drives and then there's the ESRAM yawn.......
In short you'd be better off upgrading whatever computer you have,Current word on the grapevine is that MS is planning on replacing the XB1 sooner then originally planned with either a more powerful upgrade or a whole new console due to the lackluster power of what is jokingly called a "next gen" platform and if MS does that its like Sony will follow suit given that their machine cant even hit 60FPS@1080P in that Order1866 game at all which is still causing a big stink because of the devs somewhat lame "we going for a filimic look" excuse which most people have seen right through

The Order 1886 looks like it is going to be very much a cinematic experience so, in my opinion, lower than 60 FPS does make sense. It is not as if The Witcher 3 is going to fair much better with the frame rates so I don't see why the developers of Order 1886 are receiving a lot of flak whereas CDPR is not.
And in the console market the new consoles are next gen. I believe they aren't that powerful either but considering they are successors to the last gen the term next gen is not all of the sudden a joke. And right now with the processing power of the Kinect being accessible for game developers in theory the XBox One should be able to do as as well or almost as well as the PS 4.
Also, at the end of the day the console makers want to make money as fast as possible instead of it taking years to actually break even on the hardware, so they just can't afford it to use the very latest technology. They have done in the past but it is not always the best strategy. Even if MS will replace the Xbox One sooner than intended, it is not going to happen within a year. Microsoft also has to worry about pissing off the customers who did buy their latest console instead of the one from Sony. I absolutely believe most of the huffing and puffing about the current consoles comes from PC owners.

So I am really consedering switching to PS4 for DAI. But I was wondering if the PS4 has anything like the console commands that the PC has. Some of those codes are really nice on your like 5th playthrough...
No, there will never be a Developer console for a home console system unless you happen to own a Devkit for said console.

It has nothing to do with the power of the system you play on and everything to do with how paranoid Microsoft and Sony (and Nintendo etc etc etc) are with giving people access to tools that let you modify system resourses, and thus potentially find an exploitable weaknesses. So no, they will never have a Console.

Someone is certainly biased. *ahem*
PC gaming is great - if you want to invest a little up front. Console gaming is great if you want something that'll give you that quick fix. Both are fine. These stupid wars between PC/PS4/Xbox, they get so irritating.
Just get what you think you'd want to play the game on. I, personally, would want to get a PS4 for the game. Consoles, however, are not able to mod or do anything of the sort. While modding is fun, it's not important for me. Plus, I like playing on a big tv. Yes I know you can hook up a computer to the tv - you have to get the right equipment.
I can go on, however, I'm sick of typing, and this is getting completely off topic.

It's amazing how one can elaborate this much into a simple no.The Answer is a fairly obvious no,though its a common misconception among console gamer's aside from a x86 based APU they share nothing else in common with PC's, to even compare then to a PC is a stretch, they use a very weak low power APU designed for portable devices like tablets and smartphones, the hard drive is a terribly slow 5600rpm unit instead of a 7200rpm unit that has been the defacto standard for over 5yrs for mechanical drives and then there's the ESRAM yawn.......

Also being misinformed doesn't help. The problem with XBO abd PSa is them still having SATA2 build in which means even if you replace the internal HDD (possible on PS4) you don't get the most out if it. The XBO Also has external storage with USB3.0.
The APU was designed for laptops not smartphones and tablets.
Even if MS were to release an upgrade, which would be a disaster PR wise, it wouldn't be because of lackluster power but sales.
On topic has the console even been confirmed for DAI on PC, it's a different engine after all

Yes it will be there it uses the Frostbite 3 engine same as BF4 and BF4 has it so again a fairly obvious Yes.
Generally speaking I'm so to the point some consider it blunt/rude sometimes,The Jaguar is used in some laptops though not many it is more commonly used in smartphones and tablets due to its low power usage and offers comparable clock speeds to other apu/cpu's in that sector http://en.wikipedia....roarchitecture)

Isn't that one of the big premises of the Ouya? That it is a console with a devkit?
And isn't having an open source machine one of the big draws for the rumored Value Steambox?
