I dunno, that conversation with Joker didn't have much to do with Vendetta. Nor did the conversation with Liara afterwards.

True. But isn't he just conformting Liara?
I don't really recall is the conversation with Joker. Is is the Tiptree one?

Actually, Thessia's downfall is a big part of Shepard's gripe post-mission, judging from the dialogue in the war room and with Joker (the Tiptree conversation). It never really made much sense, though, because even if Vendetta was successfully extracted from the site and the Crucible was quickly deployed, hundreds of thousands, if not millions of asari would have already been killed and/or harvested, and their cities would be in ruins.

Yeah, and to me it showed shep caring a lot.... and yes I believe it is the tiptree conversation. Starts with Joker's line about commandos and dancers.
