After a final week of counting, here's the final results from me. Will the Juggernaut be toppled from the top spot? (ha ha as if.)

So, a couple of weeks back, I started making a note of every kit and choice of weapon I saw in public lobbies. No particular reason. I just felt like it. Although it may have been triggered by seeing a TGI harrier, and thinking "haven't seen one of them in a while".
Two weeks later, my soul was sufficiently destroyed to stop recording and start putting together the results.
(I should say these are based on Gold pugs only. Also, I only recorded BSNers choices if I bumped into them randomly.)
So what are the most popular kits in Pug Land these days? 143 pugs later, here's a little snapshot.
1st Place: The Juggernaut. (20 sightings)
Not especially surprising really, I think I counted 5 in the first 3 lobbies, and they accounted for roughly 13% of kits I saw. It's like a large shiny plague.
There was quite a broad choice of weapons however, with no one weapon dominating. The Reegar was the most popular with three pugs taking it, followed by the GPS, GPR and GSMG on 2 each (good pugs. We like lore friendly choices). The Acolyte, Piranha, Arc pistol and Typhoon were also seen twice each.
2nd Place: The Destroyer Soldier (10 sightings)
Another popular choice, with another broad range of weapons used. Sadly 2 missile glitchers, one with an Adas, and one with a Striker. Top weapon choices were the Adas, Reegar and Typhoon (2 each).
Joint 3rd Place: N7 Fury, Human Soldier, Talon Mercenary. (6 sightings)
Surprise entry for the first vanilla kit, with the hurricane (2) being his/her weapon of choice.
Less surprising for the Talon and Fury. Talon players didn't have any particular preference in weapons, although 2 took the scorpion. They all liked their caine mines though.
Fury players liked the hurricane (2) and all but one of them took an smg of some sort. A shout out to the "special" Fury who took a black widow and a falcon, complete with a high velocity barrel on both. Your sacrifice was entirely in vain.
Joint 6th Place: Geth Trooper, Demolisher Engineer, Turian Sentinel, Cabal Vanguard (5 sightings)
Seems I played with some pugs with astoundingly good taste, with the good old Tsent, and the cabal placing much higher than expected. Both had a wide choice of weapons, and I didn't see any weapon more than once on either kit.
Surprisingly, the same was true of the Geth Trooper (only one took an acolyte). The demo girls definitely liked their Harriers, with three taking this weapon.
Joint 10th Place: Quarian Female Engineer, Geth Engineer, Paladin, Salarian Infiltrator, Shadow, AIU. (4 sightings)
Whoever said pugs never take engineers? No weapon was seen more than once for any of these kits, except for two Salarians taking Widows. None of the AIUs used a Reegar, but they did all take shotguns.
AND THE REST!
3 sightings each:
Awakened Collector, Human Engineer, Saboteur, Vorcha Hunter, Krogan Warlord, Salarian Infiltrator, Geth Infiltrator, Ghost, Ex Ceberus Vanguard.
Former favourites, the TGI and GI were finally spotted languishing with the hipster kits. Only one TGI harrier though. The Geth SMG was the popular choice for GIs (2). One did also take a black widow, but I'm not sure he knew which end to point at the enemy.
2 sightings each:
Human Adept, Drell Adept, Krogan Shaman,Volus Engineer, Drell Assassin, Human Vanguard, Krogan Vanguard.
Not much to report here. Neither of the human vanguards were novaguards, out of interest.
The Just Made It Club, 1 sighting each.
Asari Adept, Volus Adept, Krogan Soldier, Battlefield 3 Soldier, Batarian Soldier, Vorcha Soldier, Havoc, Human Sentinel, Batarian Sentinel, Vorcha Sentinel, Quarian Female Infiltrator, Huntress, Slayer, Batarian Brawler.
Absent friends
Now, obviously this is only a tiny survey by one delusional individual and by no means a reflection of every pug out there. So with that in mind, I feel I have the absolute authority to declare the following kits OFFICIALLY EXTINCT
Justicar, Ex Cerberus Adept, Batarian Slasher, Turian Soldier, Quarian Marksman Soldier, Krogan Sentinel, Volus Mercenary, Asari Valkyrie, Salarian Engineer, Quarian Male Engineer, Human Infiltrator, Quarian Male Infiltrator, Drell Vanguard, Asari vanguard, Volus protector vanguard.
RIP the Marksman Kits. You will be missed.
RIP half the Volus kits, you really, really won't. Stupid Molemen.
And amazingly, there go all the Male Quarians too. Really pugs? Learn2grenade.
Welp. Hope that was interesting to anyone who was mad enough to read the whole thing. With the info I have I might do a similar ranking for the weapons, if there's any interest.
TLDR, the juggernaut won. By lots.
