If you're not getting killstreaks with Arc Nades IDK what to tell you. Something is obviously set up wrong with your build. Derperus and Geth are absolutely destroyed by those things.

Unrelated, I think I may have been one of the GI + GSMG users? since I play this setup occasionally and have never ran into anyone else doing so.

I feel I should clarify.

Some are commenting on the lack of TGI, AIU and Reegar use, but since it is only the players you recognise from BSN that you are recording it should not be all that surprising, since many seem to consider them "crutch" classes and avoid using them for fear of being seen as a 'scorewh0re' or a 'scrub'.

Interesting bit of research, Rusty. 

That mostly squares with my experience, except I don't see that many Cabal vanguards, QFEs or Human Soldiers.  I actually play the QFE quite a lot, and especially lately but I can't remember the last time I ran into someone else using that kit.

 

Conversely, I do see quite a lot of Krogan Sentinels, Phoenix Adepts and QMIs. PC pugs are weird anyway though.

Well, I can't speak for PUGs, but personally I don't enjoy grenade spam, and arc grenades are the most boring of all the grenades in the game.
 
I do play the Quarksman quite often, though.

This. along with Cain Mines and Lift Grenades, they are just too simple to use.

I still use them, but I don't like using Grenade Capacity except on the Demolisher.

So, I've tallied up the weapon choices I saw with the aforementioned pugs. Unlike kits, there was a clear first second and third place. There were also 2 ultra rares in the unused category.

I wonder if anyone would like to hazard a guess on these 5 weapons. Get them all right, and I'll give you a million internet points.

 

I'll post them after tonight's pugging. In the meantime, I'm going to continue recording what I see in Gold pugs for the next week or so. Will the cabal hold her position? Will the vorcha contingent finally start to recover? We shall see.

I never see these weapons used by pugs, ever.

I must say that I am pleasantly surprised by the state of the (PC) PUGs these days. I've spotted only one puggernaut in the half a dozen or so games I've played these last couple days. Not a single Lolreegar, no leechers, and no utter and complete morons either. Everyone used consumables when needed, helped with objectives and I even met two friendly headbutting Krogan!

 

May the High Lord continue to bless my future PUG adventures and keep the Origin Demons at bay!

The favourite weapon for pugs on gold is obviously the harrier. I bet the most common plat pug weapon is the striker...
