Computron 200 is this gold?
Yes forgot to mention it applies to gold only. No other difficulty. Will amend the original post
Thx, I have slightly different result, I will post them soon. TGI has a confident lead.
That's just sad.
Maybe not so sad so many Juggy's are seen -- keeps people playing!

Juggy's are PUGs' hope to "Maybe some day, I can play platinum." Not that I blame them for using a kit that gets destroyed 90% of the time on Platinum if they heavy melee the whole way. Whenever you think a kit is super OP in durability, they go down like crazy on Platinum, but whenever it's a squishy kit, they kick most a**!

I pug plat infrequently due to the sorry state of lobbies I see -- people "go down like crazy" whether playing a Jug or some other kit. Guess I need to step up my game and pug plat more often -- only way to get better at it. Then there's the luscious credits one gets if it's successful!

Oh yeah, the lobbies are worst of it. Sometimes you find PUGs that will kick you if they see a low level weapon on you even if they themselves have low level weapons too. Silly PUGs, have fun dying. Platinum is where rude people tend to hangout, and it's where the most unpleasant surprises happen too. The enemies are nothing compared to the players.

juggys are popular with pugs because pugs don't want to be sync-killed. that's always been my take on it.
Great post by OP and many others! Thanks for this.
Now I see that I am pretty much a hipster, I guess!
Here are the stats from the games that I played in july, june and may. I take a screenshot of every lobby I play in, so I have plenty of data, lot more then this. Unfortunately from these screenshots I do not see the weapons, however I took a screenshot of the end scores as well.
I counted 3 scores:
(i) The number of votes, i.e. how may times the given kit was picked.
(ii) Topscores (based on the endscreens), i.e. number of times a kit topscored. The topscorer is the best pug in the lobby, has to be in the top 2 (i.e. if pug scored 2nd behind me I counted it as a topscore, however if me and a friend played and the pug got 3rd then it is not a topscore).
(iii) Leecher scores: less than 50k in an U/U/G gold game. I did not counted leecher score when me and friends played with 1 or 2 pugs, as it would not be fair.
All in all counted 385 picks, roughly 150 lobbies. Arguably it would be nice to increase the sample size even further (and I have the data just it needs time). (Sorry for the tables, they act weird.)
Individual kits
Top picks:
35
Turian ghost infiltrator
21
Geth juggernauth soldier
19
Human adept
18
N7 Fury adept
17
N7 Destroyer soldier
16
Alliance Unit infiltrator
14
N7 Shadow inflitrator
14
Human vanguard
11
N7 Paladin sentinel
11
N7 Demolisher engineer
11
Asari huntress inflitrator
I think there is only one surprise here: the vanilla human adept, but even it makes sense as the kit is very strong without good weapons and it is vanilla (i.e.available to everyone).
Topscores:
10
Geth juggernauth soldier
9
Turian ghost infiltrator
6
N7 Shadow inflitrator
5
Human adept
5
Geth infiltrator
5
Human vanguard
4
N7 Paladin sentinel
4
Salarian infiltrator
4
N7 Slayer vanguard
3
Asari adept
3
N7 Fury adept
3
Quarian female engineer
3
Turian sentinel
The first spot is clearly a surprise, I do not think many BSN’s would have suspected it. It also falsifies the BSN stereotype of Puggernauths being lazy scrubs.
Top conversion rate (number of topscore / number of picks):
0,625
Geth infiltrator
0,5
Batarian slasher adept
0,5
Quarian female engineer
0,5
Krogan warlord sentinel
0,5
N7 Slayer vanguard
0,47
Geth juggernauth soldier
0,444
Salarian infiltrator
0,42
N7 Shadow inflitrator
0,4
Quarian female infiltrator
0,4
Asari vanguard
I took out kits with only one or two picks. The first spot is no surprise here, the Juggies high conversion rate also shows that the average Juggy is not a leeching scrub.
Leecher scores:
N7 Fury adept
1
Human soldier
2
Turian soldier
1
Battlefield soldier
2
Geth trooper soldier
1
Geth juggernauth soldier
2
N7 Demolisher engineer
1
N7 Paladin sentinel
1
Human infiltrator
1
Salarian infiltrator
1
Turian ghost infiltrator
1
N7 Shadow inflitrator
1
N7 Slayer vanguard
1
I have expected leeching kits to be found (perhaps based on BSN stereotypes), yet no clear pattern emerged. The only safe conclusion is that even the best kits can be used for leeching.

No surprises here, the most played classes are infiltrators and soldiers. Perhaps the complete lack of a few kits (like Phoenix kits or Havoc) could a surprise.

Powerhouses (high picks, high topscores): N7, turian, human, geth. No surprises here: N7 has the best range of kits, vanilla humans are both awesome and vanilla (i.e. available to everyone) and geth and turians have some of the best weapon kits in the game. What is surprising is that the flagship of the geth is not the much praised GI but the lowly Juggernaugth both in terms of picks and topscores. GI has the best conversion rate though. The TGIs dominance amongst the turian is not surprising, N7 is very well balanced, for humans the adept and the vanguard leads the charge.
„Expert” classes (classes with low picks but with high conversion rate): salarians and quarians. Both race have excellent kits so this is not surprising, SE, QMI, QMS highly underrepresented though.
Mid-tier (races with decent amount picks and topscores): asari, batarians, krogans.
Bottom tier (low picks, low or zero topscore): drell, vorcha, volus. I am sure everyone expected the volus to be here but not the drell. I thought the drell would be an „expert race” (perhaps an other BSN stereotype) yet one drell adept saved them from the disgrace of having no topscore at all.
Well, since other people have been adding there own findings as well, I might as well add mine too. I have been keeping track of characters on gold PC pugs on and off for the last few months, though I haven't done weapons.

I never realized how unpopular Batarians where until I looked at this.
Geth Juggernaut 55
One of my least played kits and it just had the be the one I was playing when I bumped into you a few weeks ago. I will keep the embarrassment of having my character choice recorded for posterity in mind when I consider my selections in the future, challenges be damned. I take some solace in the fact that I used my weapon.
I'm still in shock about the OP's findings regarding the Talon (or lack of findings).

I think since I posted I've come across about 2 Talons, so they are out there, just much less than say, the Harrier.
Thanks to Computron, RTK2Lional and Silvershroud, I've started adding links to these extra counts in the OP.
RTK2Lional, I don't know why the juggernauts are hiding from you though. Thanks for all the extra bits of info!
Limbs, Pint, and myself have decided to combine all of our findings into one huge table. Results will be posted as soon as we're done gathering data (which should be Thursday or Friday).
Reminds me, I need to send you what data I have so far.

Thanks. I use FRAPS for screenshots.
Came here for ghosty. Wasn't disappointed
I was concerned about the significant figures....too much? ![]()

What a coincidence! Exactly 72.765% of yellow disks look just like Pac-man!
I'd like to see stats on map choices and players using nor not using consumables.
