This thread is kinda gross.  Whine, complain, insult.  Apparently bald men are ugly, someone go tell Vin Diesel and Jason Statham.  I finally see Bioware's plot to insult women for what it is- that is the one thing I got from this thread.  They have been really tricky and insidious, but now I see it.  If they don't give you exactly what you want none of your options count.  It's just another set of stories about The Man trying to keep the women from true romance.  How many pages have you been complaining now?

 

I hope this isn't directed at me? I have no issue with bald men (hell half the men I grew up with are bald) I just don't believe Solas can pull it off well. As a child I learned that no everyone's hair doesn't look good in certain ways (mostly because of headshape and face shape). I don't look good with short hair unless it's curled. (and IB's head is too small and it's weird but I'm neutral on that). As for BW's plot to insult woman...no? I lol'd hard at how utterly ridiculous Alistair's romance was compared to everyone else's. Tis all.

 

Um...none? Wait no. I've been complaining for 2 pages about not wanting Cullen race gated. If that counts.

With EA's wish to make all of their big titel game on frostbite, they should have made the sims 4 on it too, so DA could have stolen their character creator XD

 

Sims 4 hair isn't all that great.  I mean, it fits in with the rest of the game because it's got a cartoony style, but it's undetailed and static.

I sort of agree with you I could'nt stop laghing after you've put the two picture next to each other.

I always thought that Vin Diesel is the type of actor that apeal more to men then to woman, might be just my opinion though...

See while I don't think Solas is physically attractive I want him as an LI. I admit my first reaction before I read his interview was OMG WTF NOOOOO anyone else (save Blackwall cause I'm damned tired of tragic LIs) ANYONE ELSE. But now because he seems drama free, intellectual and like someone I know my protags would get along really well with. That to me is perfect for an LI. Would I prefer it if he looked more to my tastes? Of course. But a sane non fix up romance with a lack of hissy fits and drama is worth it T_T

 

And IB is for the drama and hissy fits :3

 

And Cullen for the inbetween

 

I'm not picky XD as long as they're not trying to kill me I'm good. Cullen fits my eye candy quota. XD

@Care: to be fair there's plenty who wouldn't want either of them.

 

Preferences are just that after all. Might not be the majority but everyone's attractive to someone and everyone's not attractive to someone.

 

That said I would prefer in DA4 the male LIs got closer to their looks in DAO and DA2 levels. (Though a single f/m bishie would be enough for me not to care if the rest of the male LIs were invisible).

As I am not interested in Cullen as a possible romantic suitor for my FemQuisitors, am hoping the remaining option is as charming as was Alistair and the rose. Generally prefer the inexperienced to rakes as a rule.
