Don't know, but I'm in a Spite/Rape argument about who would win in a fight on Facebook, the Galactic Empire or the Reapers. Surprisingly, there are people who insist that the Reapers actually have a chance.

Ol' Harby would be viscerally gutted by a medium turbolaser on an Imperial picket ship.

But let's not forget that the galactic empire consists of people that leave their multi billion credit superweapons with convinient weakpoints for their enemies and get beaten by Teddy bears with sharp sticks. :P

But yes the Empire would win, because technology in the Star Wars setting is far more advanced and magic (the force) actually exists and the empire uses it. The whole thing is kind of comparing apples to oragnes if you ask me.

I'd link you to the page on FB, but I'd rather not get my FB details out. Suffice to say, people actually believe that the Reapers will curbstomp.

One Star Destroyer has more firepower behind a single medium turbolaser than the entire Reaper armada combined. I actually did the math and came to the conclusion that the combined yield of the Reapers was 3.74 gigatons, compared to a shot fired from maximum power of a medium turbolaser (over 200 gigatons).

Not to mention kinetic barriers=/=force fields.

Lasers would cut right through Reaper barriers like they're not even there.
