Which is better at:

1) Sniping

2) Killing Efficiency

QFI has Sabotage and Sticky Grenades with sniper cloak.  She has standard issue style passive and Quarian Fitness which leads to her slightly exaggerated hourglass figure.

Shadow has Electric Slash and Shadow Strike, which is the most poorly coded power according to some sources.  She has decent N7 Shadow passive and then the Sword Mastery passive, but inexplicably sniper cloak.  And she does a little red sand so she can still fit in the same size armor she wore in high school.

Now you guys have your thread.

I don't know, I only know which one has the best ass :P

On topic,

1) Quarian Female Infiltrator

2) Same. She is just born for the Javelin. Nades and Sabotage for stagger = easy headshots.

About time...

My pick is:

Mass-Effect-3-multiplayer-N7-infiltrator

I'd pick her over the QFI in both regards - sniping and killing efficiency.

This is coming from a complete amateur with both classes, so take this worth a grain of salt but;

1.)QFI: Her stagger support as already stated makes for easy headshots even for those like me that can't reliably hit the broadside of an Atlas. Also, I don't understand why the N7 Shadow isn't a shotgun themed infiltrator. It just seems like shadowstrike with a cloak bonus power is just screaming  backstab followed by claymore to the face.

2.)Depends. I have better luck with the shadow on smaller maps and the QFI on the larger maps. Might just be a flaw in my style.

As for whose more fun; I'll back the shadow.

Sniping? Yawn. Melee builds on both, scrubs

Didn't someone make a nice Shadow video at one point, using Slash to reload cancel the javelin?

I'm a bit partial to the QFI, but at the same time I mostly play her as melee build and the Shadow will always win that race.  No comment on either of their sniping abilities.

QFI has the better ass which matters.

Shadow has a sword that can chop off a man's ******. After further consideration the Shadow wins.

Photoshoppers - engage.

Though I guess the real argument is which character on top in this photo ... I vote Shadow. Also, would this be an N7 presentation or Council funded entertainment?

Better sniper. I can't see the Shadow winning even if you figure in weapon passives being better. The stun of sabotage alone is going to put more headshot damage in play no matter the skill of the player. Even if a player is top tier of skills it takes a little time to line up the headshot with Sabotage that time is reduced. Sticky nades can be used as a reload cancel as well.

Electric slash as a reload cancel/hide is still a fairly long animation. Stickys are better there IMO.

Killing proficiency IDK I still think it goes to the FQI just because of her being a better sniper and SS taking so damn long to land if you put it into play. Both the shadow's power are longish animations. Not even mentioning the buggy nature of SS.

NT... :?

On topic, good call capn, I'd have done it myself if I wasn't so lazy :P

Anyway, QFI gets both awards for me, and it's not even close. Been loving her with my patched crusader as of late...

Honestly, I think the bugginess of SS off-host is exaggerated. I've played shadow on terrible hosts and I don't find it being any worse than other powers.

Shadow is a shadow of QFI. I prefer QFI over Shadow any day.

From what you've wrote in other threads, it does not surprise me. You probably have a much better connection than I do. I experience problems with it even while hosting

That said... Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Slasher!!! WHY!?!?!?!?! Why did you change your avatar!?  :(

... But it's okay, you are forgiven cause a quick visit to your profile made me found the awesomeness that is the Thane soundboard! Thank you

I don't have a great connection tbh. My host is horrible. People have had nightmares playing on my host. I do lag every now and then while playing off-host unless the host has an excellent connection.

It's just that I play off-host pretty much all the time and so, I got used to every single off-host BS the game can throw at me. :P

That much is true. But there are things to which you cannot get used to. Besides, you could be an awful host but somehow connect good with other people as a client, especially since you're in the US. Any pug I play off host nowadays, and I mean litterally more than 99% of them, I play with at least 150 ms of ping.

Because he has achieved his transformation and reached his final form. He is now officially a Collector :D .

On topic :

1- The Shadow has a better passive, but the QFI has Sabotage, which helps a lot for sniping. I would say QFI.

2 - Hard to tell. The Shadow is probably a better mooks killer with ES and her ability to "sync-kill" all little units, including Phantoms, with SS. Against bosses, the QFI can do faster a tremendous amount of damage with her Sticky Grenades.

1. QFI, Sabotage as a sniping support power > no sniping support power, even if the Shadow has better passives.

2. QFI, this is based on my personal experience using both kits.

But I find the Shadow more fun, decapitating multiple enemies with one stroke has to count for something.

QFI is marginally better when it comes to sniping and killing efficiency (assuming an experienced player with a maxed manifest).  A beginning player will probably do better with the Shadow.

Shadow is significantly more fun to play though.

N7 Shadow, because she's better with the Kishock.

N7 Shadow suck worse than quarian grill.

1. Sabotage will strip shields only after the shots, unless one specificially waits for backfire to kick in. So either phasics or multi-shot SR or Kishock are must on both. Stagger power is nice and all, but it doesn't make one kit better sniper. Marginally better passives mean Shadow>QFI at sniping.

2. While Stickies are better that SS in general, they are not as potent without CB debuff, which quifiltrator doesn't have. SS can deal craptons of damage to armor every 4 seconds as well. Even without omniblade.

In a battle of purely sniping, I would call it even since they're both just relying on TC -> shoot -> Repeat forever and they have the same TC.

In overall killing efficiency, I would probably pick the QFI mainly because of Sticky Grenades.

In a jello wrestling match, the true winner is me.
