I can't remember do any of the spirits/demons talk about the Maker in game? If they don't then there has to be a giant question mark but if they do then I think it pretty much seals that there is.
I'm pretty sure the demon from the encounter in the Elven Alienage in DAO said "Fool, there is no Maker!" or something like that. I like to think so too. If there is a Maker, he is definitely not a goody-two-shoes.
