Wasn't a fan of Zur's "ambient" music throughout the first 2 games. Looking forward to some new blood this time around.
Wait, Bioware fired Aubrey Ashburn and replaced her with Trevor Morris to compose the soundtrack?

Trevor Morris > Inon Zur
Honestly the music for the DA series hasn't been very memorable at all, unlike the Mass Effect games. I see this as an improvement.
Hell this track alone is better than anything Inon Zur ever produced for the series:
Here's a longer version of it.

I liked Zur in DAO, much less in DAII. I trusted him for DA:I. But I must admit that after having listened to only three soundtrack in DA:I, I'm glad they took Trevor Morris. Only three soundtrack convinced me that the music is going to be awesome and much much better than in the previous episodes lol.

Well, at least they didn't went the Mass Effect-route. Kicking out Jack Wall for Clint Mansell wasn't that good an idea and most of the other composers did a much better job on their part than Mansell did with the theme (reminds me of what Crytek did with Inon Zur regarding Crysis 2 when they had Hans Zimmer spit out his 08/15 theme that sounded just like all his other work *cough* Call of Duty 6 *cough*).
Sad to see Inon Zur go, just listen at what he can do if given a REAL orchestra and not that Dragon Age 2 synthetic bollocks. But from what I've heard so far it still sounds pretty good. As long as they don't bring in too much "EPIC FULL ORCHESTRA"-stuff...
P.S.: Didn't like the electric Cello they pulled out for E3. To this day they simply cannot get the sound right. That's what you get when you simply try to amplify a frequency...

Zur made at least two tracks I adored. Elves at the Mercy of Men & Fenris Theme.
That's about it though.

Fenris' theme makes me so happy but filled with feels.

First of all, Jack Wall left on his own.
Second of all, the sound of ME was Jack Wall and Sam Hulick.
Sam Hulick was a strong part of ME3.
