nothing. i don't care. i won't be staying there for long, if at all.
actually i want it empty. literally. no dust collectors nor people. i want to hear the wind outside and echo of footsteps on the highest floor.

Oiled up, naked, Dorian lookalikes. If my feminq can't have the real deal, she'll have the next best thing x20.
I'm torn. On the one hand it's suppose to be a fortress if I'm not mistaken but on the other I'm not a fan of the dreary look. I'd like the main base of the Inquision to look strong but also inviting. I want it to be a place where someone would feel comfortable to go ask help but also feel safe. I would like some nice stone work that speaks of strength but the tapestries and art to be inviting. Well that and to speak of magic. So some nice artwork celebrating the schools of creation, spirit and primal magic. If the courtyard could include some trees that fruit even in the harsh cold thanks to a few sustained spells that would be nice. Some images of mages healing people and of course a righteous light.
It'd be nice to have a trophy room as well but I'd prefer to stay away from the gruesome. I liked the golem statue and the dragon egg in awakening. I hope no one minds me mentioning blizzard but in Starcraft 2 wings of liberty one of the trophies you can gain is the flag of a colony Rainor can help establish and protect or burn to the ground whichever way you want to go. I liked the flag you get from saving it. I prefer displays showing where my character helped others rather then where she killed someone horribly. So maybe if we do the dalish a solid we can have a nice flower patch with flowers that mean something to the them. That or a tree. I'd really prefer one of those iron bark trees over a stuffed halla or the like.
Im am sure theres more but this was off the top of my head.
Two Dragon that are chained to strong poles opposite of each other to guard my Keep and I want a room full of twerking Chantry lay sisters...Yes Bioware, make it happen!
New idea - a white tiger rug and a stuffed panda
Mugshots of the Iron Bull that all are all captioned with "Do not **** this man! Report any witnessed acts of sexual deviancy to your Local Inquisition Purity Supervisor immediately!"
Skulls of my dead (alive too? lol) enemies.
And anything that will make it looks really scary and ''dark''. ![]()

Ned Stark's head.
I'd also like painting of Hawke with a sword in his right hand and the Arishok's head in the other.
I would want my skyhold to look alot like Erebor from "The Hobbit" but maybe with some small air vents built into the top of the mountain to let in fresh air with out opening the gates all the time. Also some grated windows on the ceiling to let in some sun light/rain so we can grow medical plants, food, flowers etc. Most importantly I would make sure to create multiple ways out in case of emergency (live and learn lol). Plus if the "big bad" does come knocking on my door I don't want me and my people to be trapped with only one way out. Oh and I would only want my skyshold to be this big so I can house all my soldiers, there families and to protect those that are fleeing the civil war in orlais and from the mages and templars. Also so I can breed all sorts of mounts, huge armory and smithy. large dining hall with room enough for dancing, singing and a large table for us all to gather and eat. An arena like in orzammar for my soldiers to practice and teach new soldiers. I wound'nt have such a big place just to have a big place, it would have purpose, no space left to collect dust.

The nice thing about there only being one way out though is that there is only one way end in theory at least. Making your soldiers feel like their back is to the wall also tends to bring out the best in their combat ability. Knowing that they can retreat diminishes it as they become more prone to flight then fight.
Master Sun states, ‘Throw your soldiers into positions whence there is no escape, and they will prefer death to flight. If they will face death, there is nothing they may not achieve. Officers and men alike will put forth their uttermost strength.’ Close the exits and put your back against the wall.
Hmm, personally I'd like to go the way of Vlad the Impaler and have "forests" of impaled enemies in front of the main Hold.. that'll send a message c:

stuffed panda.... YOU MONSTER!!
An attractive throne. My Vasoth Inq will want something quite grand and fancy, but my Dalish will prefer something simple, like the bench Daenerys currently uses as a 'throne' in GoT.
Some nice carpet leading up to it would be nice. Curtains on the windows, maybe not in the throne room, but elsewhere. They just give places a more homey feel.
Pictures and statues (especially statues of the gods and halla for my Dalish).
Four poster bed, similar to Hawke's. Maybe some musical instruments (I liked that lute that shows up after Orana is employed).
Library, hopefully with titles we can click on - maybe some Easter Eggs like books from the Witch Hunt dlc, or Wynne's gifts. Or some of Varric's novels, and maybe a copy of Anders' manifesto even found its way there.
If Bodahn and Sandal live with us again, they should get some proper enchanting section, not just a random table.
Trophies or curiosities from their travels. I think Awakening had a bit of this (I know a dragon egg appeared on a plinth after some time, and other things), but we had no choice over what was displayed.
I'm hoping we can't customise our companions' quarters (assuming we can see them), since those should have their own personal touch.

OMG I didn't even think of a library! That's awesome and I definitely want one for my Keep! The trophies are also a great touch and I would love to have a trophy room!
The frayed and tattered banners of my fallen enemies and a store-room filled with casks of whisky. All I need.
Lots and lots of mabari, and I'll leave them to tend to the Orleasian diplomats while I'm away.
Want to paint the walls with blood, eye balls hanging from the roof with magic that enchants them to shine light. Piles of maggots and lots and lots of dead bodies, plus other charming things.
I would prefer glitter and tinsel but I guess that won't be available in game so..... I'll go for the skeletons of my enemies, including a throne made from nug skulls. Inquisitors gotta show they mean business. ![]()
The armor of my major enemies.
Seriously, once I beat the red templars, I want a suit of their armor on the wall, then the next faction the same, then the next faction the same.
I'm hoping we can hang our enemies up by their necks. Then skin them GOT style and have blood dripping from them for the rest of the game, also some burgundy drapes would look nice.
