Burgundy curtains and matching upholstered furniture, a large decorative fountain in the central hall/courtyard, kegs of the best ale, and barrels of the finest wine. Lots of pillows and candles. And I'd probably pay a mage to enchant a magical disco ball, and hire some bards who can really shred. Oh, and I'd have a rose garden with stone benches and walkways, and marble statues.

Lots of beautiful flowers. I want my keep to feel like a home for my inquisitor and companions. And for the soldiers, I hope they have barracks and maybe like a little tavern for them to go have a drink, along with a stable for our mounts. The more customization the better I think 

 

Also a beautiful throne with a pet dragon guard would be nice as well:

I LOVE the way you think! Everyone on here saying they want dark, dreary, blood and gore for their Keep and I'm sitting going, "isn't the Keep supposed to be where our Iquisitor goes to get away from all that and be comfortable and be surrounded by not death?" So congrats and that tavern thing is a stroke of genius we should totally have one of those and I love the flowers idea. Aside from Andrastes Grace in Origins I've never seen flowers really well represented in Dragon Age.

A Wyvern nesting area, a bath heated by dormant volcanic flows under the castle, pet dogs roaming the halls, a stable for all my mounts, an artist making a huge painting on the side of the main hall that gets filled with portraits of my companions as they join me, a bard to sing of my exploits, a really huge old oak table covered in food, gardens that I can fill with exotic plants from my travels to make potions with, and a room with statues showing off all my collected clothing and armor! 

 

Oh and my own armory with blacksmith equipment.

None of us know what is available yet. This is fantasy not fact. We are just stating hopes and wants for what we would like. Have some fun with it! Probably like 70% of what we say and want might not be available to decorate the Keep with but it's still nice to fantasize. :3

I would love to have my keep in the tallest mountains in DAI where snow never melts. Front of the castle/keep would be visible and the rest hidden from the rest of the world. Insides of the keep would be decorated with crystals and diamonds, all the artifacts would be displayed along the longest halls. In the throne room the would be fountain that would illuminate moon light from the crystal roof. On the throne room walls would be roses frozen in diamonds and the cloths would be made from the most illumines gold and silk.

Anything pastely, frilly, and lacey. The Keep's gonna be a freaking dollhouse for the fun of it and the strategy room would look like more of a tea-room. I want Barbie puking in envy.

A massive library full of hundreds of thousands of books, treatises, and maps, a cellar full of the finest wines across the land (as well as the cheap stuff for when Iron Bull, Sera, and Blackwall get completely wasted), tapestries hiding secret passages (a must for any castle), and a lush garden and statuary that all visitors are required to traverse before entering the keep proper (needless to say, some of the statues will be booby-trapped should any outside forces try to assault my fortress). Basically, I'm aiming for something that's imposing and functional, but not grandiose; a keep that says "Yes, I am quite powerful and you would do well to fear me" but without being gaudy or pretentious.

I know it's not possible however would love as an Dalish Inquisitor to hang shemlen heads...especially the Chantry ones as well as every dirty andrastian who oppose the Dalish independence.

Aw thanks!   I really hope the Keep is warm and inviting, just a nice place to hang out with your companions and take a break, same for the soldiers! And from the demos and things I've seen so far, it seems like you can collect a lot more stuff while exploring, so hopefully that includes flowers!
