Please don't link to troll websites.

I'd actually be happy if they made it more accessible to players who have lower end computers who'd like to play. I mean I can't even run the Witcher 2 on low settings without it being choppy. I know it's Frostbite 3 and all (DAI I mean), but still lol, DAO and DA2 weren't too graphically intensive.

Witcher 2's a bad example, their optimization is the worst I've ever seen.

You'll maaaaaybe be alright, but I think the big thing to worry about is the 64-bit system. I suspect that'll be the bit leap people are going to have to make over the next couple years.

Even if the article is true, all that means is that the hi-res textures aren't ready, not that the aren't coming.

A hi-res texture pack is a fairly common occurence these days.  I'm not concerned.

And again, that assumes the article is more than just wild speculation.

Indeed, all that the article says is that it won't be on the disk because of the pressures of releasing the game. But we know that the game will be locked on the disk, and time will remain to work on the game (e.g. to create patches). So a day 1 HD patch is entirely possible.

If I recall correctly, Skyrim's HD patch wasn't released immediately. I don't recall that causing any long-term ill will toward BethSoft.

i doubt this will happen, they have showcased the game as it is numerous times, i dont think they will pull a watchdogs on us, i have more faith in bioware than to pull the rug out from under us at the last second

Bestheda, however, had far more goodwill. It also comes on the hells of Ubisoft's far more absurd practice.

What happened with Watchdogs? I lack that piece of knowledge/context and would like to know so that I can better follow this thread.

Hm...

How old is your rig?

I mean my computer is now almost 3 years old and I can still (after upgrading one part: the grafics-card about 8 months ago (used the card from a previous PC in this one, as I didn't want to spend the cash back then)) play everything on full settings (even things like BF4 - and I enjoy that game with those settings)...well I simply demand maximum settings from my machine (without buying those top of the line things like a graphics-card for over 500 Euro...mine cast 380 Euros and makes maximum settings possible without breaking a sweat...or getting a CPU worth more than my entire system etc. - It's not necessary and too expensive anyway)

As for this Article:

I hope they didn't do this - If they did I would be quite pissed (note: not if it's an after marktet upgrade (HD-Texture-Pack), but downgrading from what they have shown us as being "normal"? - Yeah, pissed is the word -.-)...let's hope that this article is just hot air!

greetings LAX

Gaming journalism. Lol.

Terrible article with no factual info or sources. Funny thing is I wouldn't be surprised if it's partly true and Bioware ships an HD pack later.

I'm going to wait for a better source than ''K-Drama Stars''.

At most from what we have seen, and Lol at the Assassins Dragon Age Creed gameplay, is that the PC version will be a port of the console version. Which Bioware has already done before.
