I feel like I'm starting to sound like a broken record but oh my god:
You will be okay. There will be options. Wait until they're all announced before getting annoyed about it.
It will be unfortunate for you if you clash with all those options and you simply don't like them, but that's just the way it is. It in no way diminishes the game. In my canon play through of DA2 I didn't romance anyone, and the sky didn't fall down, the game was still great.
But you'll probably still put your penis in the cake anyway, because why not?

Its more like there has been a precedent of paying for good cake, and then the next time you go to buy cake, its not a great cake.
I think people, Bioware included, severely underestimate how much people care about romance options.

And no. They don't underestimate how much people like romance paths. It's why we have gay, bi and straight options in this game. Sit down, son.
Personally, I don't particularly like the options that have been presented for a straight male thus far, but we have to wait and see. I doubt Cass and Vivienne are the only options.

I'm sorry but I don't like the amount of romance options I see so far as a Straight dude. Cassandra is.... not what I would consider attractive(in all aspects). I don't mean to say she is the worst romance option to who ever likes her but she's not my cup of tea. I wanted to hook up with Sera but she's a lesbian. I don't want to offend anyone it's just I want more options than this. Does anyone else have a problem with the current options in Inquisition?
Sorry to break it to you, but Bioware isn't obligated to create love interests tailored to your particular taste.
And I think Cassandra rather sexy, thank you. I find tough, strong willed and capable women to be quite attractive. Not everything is about physical appearance (though I really like how she looks in the new engine).

I have just said that I think Cassandra is attractive, but based on DA2 and what i know of her personality, i don't like her, and don't want to romance her.
I dont find Vivienne or her priorities attractive or endearing at all.
I know nothing of Scribbles, and she remains my last hope.
It is entirely personality based for me.

No problems here (yes, even as a straight man - shocking, I know), and I'm sure, with the way Bioware writes characters and stories, that even the characters that I'm not incredibly excited for now will eventually grow on me, and my Inquisitor.
If you give the LIs a chance, I think you'll be surprised. As far as Cass is concerned, we shall have to agree to disagree. 
But you'll probably still put your penis in the cake anyway, because why not?

I think when it comes down to it, people who might whine about things are all in the same boat.. they feel limited.

Scribbles is an option, yes, but to be honest, we don't know an extraordinary amount about Cass or Vivienne. You might actually like them when you get to know them.

Clearly not. You're saying the last romance stories were, "good cake." You haven't played the game yet and we know nothing about the romances save for a couple being confirmed... and you're saying they aren't, "good cake." Just because a character (which you don't know enough about) doesn't seem to wet your whistle... you are saying that the romances won't be as good because the character you know of don't have a personality you find attractive. Shallow.

Based on the information we've got, people claim that they love these characters and want to do all sorts of naughty things to them, so surely someone can decide that they dislike a character based off that same information?
