The Inquisition?

Yeah, Leliana's presence immediately cancels that one out.

The Inquisition?

Also, Lirene's Fereldan refugee network.

That remains to be seen, and thank goodness there's one.  I would question her relevance given the scale of the rest of the organizations we're discussing, but you have satisfied the letter if not the spirit of the teasing question.

Well, any faction that engages in any sort of violence would be immediately out, and the inability to project hard power will strip out most if not all of the world's more significant factions.

*sigh*  You win, you have slain the attempted levity.  Carry on.

Forgive me, I engaged with it because I figured you were trying to jokingly make a point, as opposed to just using the joke.

If they're smart, by making alliances. Perhaps even with each other. They could complement each other well, with the mages providing the quality and the elves the numbers. Or with dalish, ferelden, nevarra or whatever side of the civil war might offer

I think that's where the inquisition steps in.

I imagine that the City Elves, if they were organized, can struck one extremely powerful blow ala the City Elf origin (simultaneous poisoning of their masters / the nobility / the guardsmen).  After that they take to bows and flee.

Loghain, apparently, was very much a fan of City Elf archers.  It would have pleased me to see him conscripting elves rather than selling them.

No worries, Xil. Was a long morning, and not much of a joke to begin with.
