I have a 32X32 area which I would like to beak down into smaller select areas. Since this area already exists it would be easiest if I could selectively extract smaller areas from the large area. I am not sure what is the best way to accomplish this or if it can even be done.

The sub areas would all be about 4X4 to 6x6 in size.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

Without terracoppa, you can copy the area and then resize it to crop off unneeded bits of the area.  Make sure to delete any objects before you do so, or else they all get piled up on the edge.

Terracoppa is really nice, though.

I have done this by LotRS method and that works well but you need to be sure the area is complete before you start so a you get continuity in the both the walkable  and transition areas.

Make sure you have a spare area or two to practice. It may take some trial and error.

Okay, I downloaded terracoppa. I assume this is a NWN2 plug-in. I am not sure what the LotRS method is.

yes terrachoppa is a plugin. LotRS is in reference to the method Lugaid of the Red Stripes posted earlier in the thread.
