Can we get a lore sub forum?

I'd really like to have a lore subforum.
But I'm not sure there's enough posters interested in this?

I think there are lot of people who can enjoy it. It would be more popular than the elder scrolls one, since dragon age lore it's much easier to grasp. But because of that it will require some moderation, and bioware don't make forum users mods do they?

There already is a lore subforum, namely the Story, Campaign and Characters forum. The DAI forum is more than just Scuttlebutt.

I think they should divide Story/Lore and the character forum
because right now its basically just a character discussion forum (especially romance)
Especially since lore threads would just get buried under the flood of character love threads.

I love going on the fan threads, but I agree, it's pretty hard to get a discussion going about anything else.

What would be discussed?
Just having questions can be answered by the Wikia.
There have been plenty Elf, Mage, Templar, Qun, Chantry threads if one wishes to count them as lore.
The mods have done an decent job keeping the character threads to "official" threads, so there is room on the Story first page for more lore threads.

Dragon age has lot of lore to discuss. And the romance section it is not practical for discussing lore matters seriously. We'd like someting like this: http://forums.bethso...r-scrolls-lore/. Look in the threads, you'll see how much is different the lore section to the general one.

Agreed. Lore matters a great deal in an RPG game and the other sub forums are there to mainly discuss how pretty or hot characters look as opposed to lore itself.
In fact I would go as far as to suggest that we have a subforum for lore and gameplay. So a subforum for lore, build guides, game mechanics, tactics and so on. A sub forum free of the typical BSN claptrap of romance.

I support this 100%. Some folks want to discuss, theorize, and speculate on Thedas' more esoteric aspects. Bethsoft's Lore forum is probably the only reason I visit that site. I'd like to have something similar for Dragon Age. Character threads tend to bury everything here.

I also think that the Lore sub forum should be for the entire series as a whole and not be dedicated to single titles like DA:O or DA:I.

I'm on board, too. Especially if we could have the writers confirm or reject proposed theories and dismiss the inevitable interjections from some players' hypotheses.
I know there's a book out on it, but some of us can't access it for various reasons. My own purchase of 'The World of Thedas' will take some time due to financial restrictions and availability. The lore is part of the game, I'd rather have it official, and free, than to rely on a Wiki where anyone can contribute, regardless of their expertise.
