I know it isn't called alignment in ME1, but here's my question. I have my renegade ME1 savegame and I want to know if there's any point in playing Paragon in ME2 with an ME1 renegade save. Would I be better served to just stick with one attitude? I'm hesitant to go renegade again because I don't want people in the game to dislike me, as foolish as that sounds. I also usually gravitate toward paragon, I just have the renegade save since that's the one I managed to finish with.

I know the game isn't out yet, but does anyone have some insight? Thank you.

I think it'd be a nice twist, if your character reconsiders his priorities. With a renegade imported, you'll have more renegade choice to begin with, but with every paragon decision, you may clean your reputation a bit more. ^^

Yeah, my motivation was to role-play a Shepard that has a change of heart. But I don't know if mixing your choices like that dilutes the experience. I suppose that's pretty subjective. Could I go through a game with a half/half mix of renegade and paragon? I know I can do it, but I like choosing one or the other extreme.

I think you should just decide on the situation, if the paragon answer feels to paragonish, take the renegade and slightly up it to takin' mostly paragon choice.

As for me, I'll base it entirely on the situations. My character has some standard values and i don't care if following them is considered renegade or paragon in the given situation. After all, your reasons are never revealed, so the "alignment" is merely your reputation amongst others.

I'm curious if there will be issues with going full on both for once character...
