First non vanilla was the Asari Adept. I though she was awesome ............... in bronze ![]()
Really hated the Juggy when I got him about a year ago, but I've been playing him again over the last two weeks. I just play him as a slow soldier (no melee) and I'm quite enjoying it! ![]()
Thought the Destroyer was awesome when I got him, but now I think he's just meh, and I never touch him.

I think the drell adept was the first nonhuman kit. If you mean yellow card kits though probably the Quarian Marksman.
There's nothing so far that I've originally disliked that I'm now comfortable with, I've been playing for only a few weeks though.
I started out playing infiltrators as snipers but damn is that ever boring to me, I just can't take it. So not a specific kit but a specific playstyle, all my infils are going to be shotgunners.

He has Shields.
But seriously, I didn't like him. I always just skipped fitness and used a cerberus harrier + grenade capacity, which felt so awkward. I tossed him aside for the longest time, but I discovered a "use" for him.
He's now in the business of fishing & fisting. He uses the Kishock to catch his fish, then uses lash to reel them in and finish them off with a nice fisting.

Also, I disliked the Batarian Slasher.

That's awesomely stylish. 2 thumbs up.

Vanilla, as if the kit was included in the game at release, or vanilla as in only human?
Novaguard all the way in the demo, and GE when the first DLC got released.

2) Human Adept, GI, Smashdept & Smashguard.
3) Nothing actually comes to mind.

Turian Sentinel of course.

The didn't have those amazing passives at the beginning.
Yes, but they were already great (the buff was something like +7,5% to weapon damage, 30% bonus to headshot instead of 20%, but I can be wrong).

Geth Engineer + M76 Revenant, the old times without space magic

My first non vanilla kit was the Asari Valkyrie
Same as Argent, my first non vanilla kit was the Asari Valkyrie and we're still happily together. We had a bit of a break before I unlocked her on Xbox, but yeah, we worked things out.
I used to dislike the Awakened Collector, because I was like "wtf do I do with that?" Now it all makes sense. Power buiiiiiiiiild.
The character I was getting good with but didn't fit my playstyle... Vorcha Sentinel. I am pretty good with him, but he's too linear. And not fun for me.

Geth Engineer.
Never thought id like the Asari Justicar but damn can she hold a location

I think it was the Salarian Engineer. I set it up as a sniper build (even took the sniper weight reduction in the passive tree instead of the damage bonus). I think I got Glacier on my first game with him. I was.... not good.

When I started it was the DA. Resurgence was the BatSent. I may not use him all that much, but he's still an awesome character. The original hatesurfer.
Still like to take him with the kishock. Rebellion was one of the pheonix dudes, don't remember which one. Most likely the vanguard. Retaliation I believe was the biotic god (volus adept), earth was the slayer I believe, and rekoning was I think the collector adept.

My first non Vanilla kit that I got comfortable with. Salarian Engineer and Asari Adept, I unlocked them in back to back packs and pretty much played only these kits for a while back in the day.
Character I disliked but got good with. I didn't dislike any of the characters that came in the stock game so it probably wasn't until the Turian Havoc and Volus Engineer.
Character I Wanted to like but is impossible for me to like is the Krogan Warlord.

My first was the Turian Soldier. I unlocked it and was very excited and immediately used him in the very next match. Then I was in disbelief that he didn't have a roll.
To the second question, I'm not sure. I can't think of a character I originally disliked but now like.

I want to say QFE, but I remember getting the TSol pretty early too. Overall I wasn't too pleased with either at first because I didn't know anything about the game or the characters
for the second part, any infiltrator that wasn't the shadow, namely the DAI. Ironically, now DAI is my overall favorite sniper class and I can't stand the shadow.

If we're talking about first DLC, then Judgesticar.
If first non human, probably Salarian Engineer.

First non-Vanilla character: Hmm, that was a long time ago. I think it was the FQE in the demo, and Drelldept in the full game. If you mean expansion character, it was either the Batarian soldier or sentinel, I don't remember which.
Originally disliked: The Justicar. I just could not get the hang of her for the longest time. Now she's my go-to character when I want an easy match.
Thought-I-Was-Good-With: Vorcha Soldier. It was my best character on silver, and the one I used to move up to gold. Unfortunately, I have never been able to improve with it after that. For me it's gold-useable, but just barely.

About the others... Character I disliked but got good with... Well quite a bunch. FQE, GE...
Characters I used to like but found out they weren't that great... Uhm... Well maybe the paladin. I used to use him quite a bit at first, now he's been setting there collecting dust for probably more than a year, except the random melee match
Also, novaguard is awesome, you blasphemers!
