Today, i have finished that wonderful trilogy for the third time. Until today, I always chose the Destroy ending which was the only one for me that made sense. At first that is what I thought.  I tried today the synthesis and I admit that i was surprised to see a great ending, relatively well executed (Thanks to the Extended cut) although i was saddened that my FemShep had to die :( Poor Liara is now alone..but i was fine with the idea that she may die during that unpleasant war. Anyway it has become a nasty habit with Bioware that our hero has to die at the end ( Remember DA :o)

Synthesis was a great way to end the war, but there is something that still puzzles me : Is it not weird that Shepard forces every species to merge with synthetic without their consent ? What would Wrex or Tali, for instance, say if they were asked that question ?The catalyst  himself said that the synthesis solution has never become a reality so far because people couldn't be forced to merge with synthetics..

I mean what are we supposed to understand by that ? Are Shepard's decisions really for the greater good ?

PS : I apologize for my limited english, hope everyone understood my point

There are a million and one other topics about this. Do we really have to rehash it with a new one?

To not sound like a complete jackass, I'll refer the OP to this thread here.

OP, you'd be better served asking that question there, since plenty of posters (myself included) get real finnicky when a new thread is made on a topic that has a large number of threads dedicated to it already.
