Jack and Garrus.
It's tough for DLC characters.
I'm not talking about DLC squadmates who join your crew like Javik, Kasumi and Zaeed.
I'm talking about DLC squadmates who join you for one mission like, Kenson, Aria and Nyreen.
They have such a short time to make an impression on you.
You don't see them grow over a period of several hours.
They are in content that a lot of people didn't play.
For Aria and Nyreen to get any votes would say a lot about said characters.
Like Paul Megan and John Hurt, they're not going to win any "best of" polls, but they've made their mark.
Tali. always Tali.
Just want to add that if I would choose 4 favorite squadmates instead of 3, then they would be Liara, Legion, EDI, and Kasumi.

Such amazing choices.
High five!
Veeeegaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Liara and Garrus...never left the Normandy without my Asari and Turian in tote
Tali, Garrus, and Wrex.
Tali, Garrus, and Wrex.
Tali and Garrus are classics.
You keep them in Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3.
They will always be there for you (unless you make some really daft decisions).
Wrex is a little busy keeping the Krogans in check to join your squad. ![]()
What makes Tali and Garrus so awesome is that you get to see them in three games and watch them develop over time.
You watch them grow with you and shape you as you shape them.
Two magnificent examples of character development done right.
That's saying a lot because Bioware handles all of their characters really well.
None, I killed all of them.

My only problem with Tali is aside from ME1 you don't get her until around the halfway point. ![]()
Garrus, Garrus, Garrus. Garrus all the way like seriously, Maybe wrex or thane at times but mainly garrus.
I know this would never have happened, but I would have loved to have a playthrough in Mass Effect 3 that follows on from the bad ending of Mass Effect 2.
The squadmates would be:
James Vega
Liara T'Soni
[Optional Javik]
EDI
Virmire Survivor
[Replacement player character for commander Shepard].
Heck you could do this without having to change too much of the story.
Beside Miranda in ME2, or actually after her, I liked Jack too. In ME3, Besides Ashley, Miranda. And Mordin was somehow a funny character.

Krogan for the win, dat boney crest.
So you're saying
Wrex in ME 1
Grunt in ME 2
James in ME 3
James isn't Krogan? Well he still fits the same archetype.
Okay, this is so hard it's unfair. But I voted Garrus (ME1), Kasumi (ME2) and Ashley (ME3).
Miranda is actually my favorite in ME2, but I voted for Kasumi because I figured out she didn't have many votes.
BUT YEAH, I love everyone
Garrus
Zaeed
Zaeed (Since he wasn't a "real" squadmate, I'll go with Javik...or maybe Garrus...hell...I don't know. Honestly, I'm still trying to purge ME3 SP from my brain housing).
But Zaeed should've been a squadmate in ME1.
RIP
Pretty hard to narrow down.
Chose Kaidan, Mordin and Garrus for sake of the poll though.
