So.... it was the Inquisition symbol from the start?

 

Waht a twist.

 

So maybe the Inquisition was in the works already, or at least there was an idea of an organization like it, which is why Leliana and Cassandra have Josephine and Cullen on speed dial, basically, when the world goes to hell at the start of DA:I. 

 

They were going to reboot the organization to e.g. stop the mage/templar war, but then the Fade Tears happen, Sparkles the Protagonist shows up, and suddenly we have a shift in focus?
