Like I mean more connection to the mother of the human mage Warden. Like she gave you a amulet before you were taken from your home and then you can talk to Jowan about it in the origin story and then have a mission to find your mother later on. I just hated being left in the dark about so much about the human mage Warden's prior Circle history.
Would anybody else like a little more background to the human Magi origin?

You see the same thing with the Surana Warden. Three possible choices on where you came from, and no one seems to recognize you, especially in the Denerim Alienage.It would have been nice if the mages could have had a real origin.

We already have plenty of details from DA2.
The Elven Mage has NO detail whatsoever. Granted, that's why I like it, since I can make up many interesting backgrounds that help form many different elven mage personalities, worldviews and magic specializations, but it would be nice to have some in-game content. In fact, if an elf talks to Eadric in the Circle, and he asks where you're from, you can respond with Lothering, Denerim, Highever, or you don't remember. I kind of waited for someone from the clicked area (like Denerim) to recognize my character, but it never happened. Even if it's just one or two throwaway lines like they remember you were the child of so-and-so who moved on, died of grief or whatever, at least it would be something.
Amell already gets more than Surana, so I think that's enough.

It would've been nice. When Morrigan asks about my mage's mother, I'm like "...Uh..." because we know nothing about her. Even though the origin was fun, I was never fond of my warden being a Circle mage. I wish there was a Dalish mage origin. It's imbalanced that warriors/rogues get 5 backgrounds while mages were stuck with 1, even when a dalish mage was perfectly viable.
