"THIS IS NOT A TOPIC OF WHETHER ME4 SHOULD OR SHOULD NOT HAVE MULTIPLAYER... TAKE THAT TOPIC TO ANOTHER FORUM. IF YOU DIDN'T LIKE ME3 MP THEN GET OUT OF THIS FORUM UNLESS YOU HAVE SOMETHING ACTUALLY RELEVANT TO THE TOPIC AT HAND!!!
I'm curious about what people would like in ME4 multiplayer. "

LOL Gave me a good chuckle!
An interesting part of all this is that I didn't want MP in ME3 at all. Lo and behold, it became the only part of ME3 I liked. Now that we are discussing MENext options, I am actually leaning towards seeing MP again.
Exactly how I felt. Until I actually tried MP I didn't care for or welcome it. It quickly became the reason I haven't ditched this game after the RGB.

MP will be in the next game due to its success in ME3.
P.S. Why don't you start your own thread instead on posting in this one.

I can understand not liking multiplayer if you have no friends, but if you do, multiplayer is great. Doesnt matter what they botch in the next game, the multiplayer alone will be enough for me to buy it.

Mass Effect MP was the most fun I had in an MP game since Doom.
So all I ask for the developers, is to focus on fun, not on features. I couldn't care less about realism or whatever, people can play ARMA if they want realism. Or better even, take a walk through Harlem at night, wearing Nikes, a gold watch and designer shades.
I didn't read the last page so I don't know if anyone has addressed this already buuut; Harlem isn't anywhere near as dangerous as it used to be in the 70's, 80's, and 90's. Gentrification is serious business and it spares no neighborhood. Even the South Bronx is gonna be full of hipsters, yuppies, and cafes within the next 20 years. Mark my words.

Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if it was less than 20. Lots of neighborhoods are transforming rapidly as cheaply built condominiums sprout left and right, like they are in Williamsburg.

I don't play MP, so I don't care for it as a feature. But since is mandatory, I want it to not influence in any way the SP campaign (like the Ucharted games) and to not have all the "goodies". I'm still irritated so many fun classes and weapons of the ME3's MP can't be played in the SP. I would have loved my Shepards to use a blade!!!
or the maps with metherological effects: I would have loved them for a simple N7 mission.
Instead I have to suffer in the big, ugly, inconclusive first maps obvious created for the MP. But never played in the good ones.
or fight again collectors and all the others enemies! it was very bad seeing MP having so many feature in gameplay, while SP suffered in every camp!!!

1. I would prefer a system where I know what characters/weapons/mods I'm spending credits on.
2. Enemies that are related to the single player story.
3. More Biotic Whipping.
