On the Dragon Age website is a timeline I had just noticed. And I think it is great! It also needs more info and emphasis. This is wonderful for people who haven't read any of the books or comics and have just played the games. Has anyone else seen this? If so what did you think? :3

I think the idea is good but its frustrating, or at least used to be been a while since I've tried to use it and it does not give a lot of information. Though I admit I have stuided the Wiki and some of the Codexes (Codi?) so maybe I just know most of the information presented?

I loved it, personally. I think the whole website design is fab, and I've really enjoyed clicking on the timeline. This is coming from someone who's read the books and avidly pored through the codices (thanks Connor!), mind, so I can't judge the quality of the information from the perspective of anyone who hasn't ![]()

Well from the perspective of someone who has read nothing of the books I also love it lol and like I said I would love to see it expanded upon.

World of Thedas has an even better timeline. Actually, that whole book is A+. Can't wait for Volume 2.0!

I saw this before, but your post made me look at it again and I realized something.
I thought the mage v. templar war began in 9:40 Dragon, but it actually started in 9:37.... This means the war was going on for 3 years before Cassandra finally talked to Varric O_O
Which means that Cullen was probably in Kirkwall for those three years trying to restore order based on what we know about him now.
Depending on the time DAI starts, 9:40 or 9:41 (I'm guessing 9:41), the war between mages and templars has been going on for 3/4 years! That is a LONG time! It also means that there is going to be a LOT of history. It also makes sense why we start the game off with peace talks. At this point in time I'd imagine everyone is friggin tired and exhausted of the war, resources are all run out, morale is low, and countless have died.

Wow! I hadn't even thought of that! Great catch lol. Now I find the use of the timeline even more interesting. Hoping they add more info to it before the release of DAI. :3

Not bad, could be more detailed though, like when each of blights ocurred and things like that.

I'm intrigued to hear about the history of the Mage-Templar war since it's been going on for 3/4 years(hope we got a confirmation on DA:I's date).

Just noticed the page is made in Angular, awesome! One little thing, they should use ng-bind instead of curly brackets to prevent unrendered expressions from showing up.

I see in a different way. For me, the Kirkwall incident was something like "the prequel to the war". I think "The War" really began on 9:40, with the events of Dragon Age Asunder.
Anyway, The World of Thedas is amazing. I hope we see a 2nd volume soon.
