A few, during holidays (no geek activities in vacation !). I also reduced my time playing ME3 while playing The Last of Us and Assassin's Creed 4 these last months.
How many breaks have you taken from playing?

I take some pretty long breaks. PUGing is the least thing I want to do. I just solo a gold just to end the day...or lolBronze if I feel cheap and dirty.

Several, most when other games came out
I play Lego Games (which invites snickering I'm sure)
100% in "Lego the Hobbit" was a major pain, because of Glitchiness and two specific challenges

Took a break to play GTA.
I thought the single player was great fun, but the Multiplayer is a car-crash, I lost interest and returned to ME.
It made me realize how good ME MP really is.

I remember us pointlessly trying to punch/ shoot/ run over each other when I bumped into you the one and only time I played GTA Online.

I've taken two breaks, the first last autumn for about two month, then came back to play for a month, then took a four month break last winter. Thought that I was done with this game but in april I felt the urge to play again.

It's always some sort of a glitch or connection problems that make me chill for a while.
All in all I would say the game was a great success.

The only extended break I took was for 3 months, but only because I was sent to another country for work.

Had one break that was almost a year long.
Towards the end of ME3MP's life some my buddies who played regularly either got tired with the game or moved on to other big titles. Whoever was left, like me, was playing mostly for the lols with friends and the weekend operations. Then in the 2 or 3 weeks after OP Lodestar where the community was in the dark in regards to the status of weekend ops and dev support for the game, another big chunk of friends moved on. When the devs announced that they were cutting off support for the game, I stopped playing as well. Not rage or disappointment or anything like that, more of a "had a nice run, time to move on."
Then late January this year I got invited to a ME3 game by a friend I haven't seen in a long while... and I've been playing ever since. Admittedly not as much as back in the day but still semi-actively.

I took one for like 3 months or so. Started with playing the single player games with ME1,2, and somewhere in part 3 sp I lost interest and started playing some old school games from the early 90's via emulators on PC. Then also got the 2D scrolling shooter bug again, a genre that I very recently finally got into after avoiding it all my life. Course I get into it when that genre is all but dead, but better late then never... not even sure what got me into ME3mp again? Finally firing up the 360 again surely must of been part of it? The other part was me worrying it would go offline too soon. But once I got playing again, I couldn't believe how rejuvenated I felt at this game. Like I just started playing for the first time.
Right now I'm trying to play this game as much as possible so that when it does eventually go offline, I won't regret it as much for not playing it enough while it was online. ... I'm really going to miss this game. Too bad they didn't add a patch to make this game at least playable in solo mode... that Citadel DLC casino game thingy do much to fill the void of ME3mp when it's gone? Have yet to play that part of that DLC, and that kind of seems like it's purpose to me?...

I usually only get time to play on weekends so I don't feel like I need a break

Is it too late for a "I take breaks all the time" joke? ![]()
