I'm looking forward to this Q and A, but I'm also praying to Andraste and the Maker that it won't turn into them answering the same handful of questions that get asked in like every Bioware interview (such as talking about the import system being replaced by the Keep when that information has been out for over a year). I mean I'd love for them to talk about the keep if they can reveal new info, but seriously people should learn to research things...
If they're going off the highest rated to ask, maybe BSN should take it on themselves to link and support good questions, since a lot of the questions are getting lost in people spamming. This would help us at least support the questions we want answered.
The best way to isolate a comment is find the one you like, then click on a timestamp and provide a link, preferably quoting the post in the process for expediency; shameless self promotion incoming
Couple Equipment related questions I wanted to ask. Most have multiple facets each though, is that cheating?
1. Are all weapons class locked? I know it's heavily implied at least some are, but can I roll with a rogue using a Sword or Axe, or am I limited to Double Daggers and Bows? Is armor class or attribute locked?
2. In the PAX Demo, we see the Inquisitor Parrying with his Greatsword, is this feature still in the game? If so, how is this balanced in terms of gameplay? Does it negate all physical damage, a portion, cost stamina or some other resource? Similarly, is blocking with a shield handled passively or actively?
3. Will counter-attacks on keeps from opposing factions (Such as from PAX2013) occur dynamically, or are they hard scripted and thus limited in the amount of times they happen? In other words, is there some persistent game you have to play in protecting the Inquisition's Holdings?
