A pragmatic one, and if Bioware provides me with the right combination of actions and the proper dialogue options i would really like to be able to invoke this trope: The Magnificent Bastard.

That is a little extreme, don't you think? I know you don't agree with many of my Opinions, but let's keep civilized and try not to invoke Godwin's Law.
No, I do not talk about Stalin or Hitler. I'm talking about Stannis Baratheon from a Song of Ice and Fire. Who is not the nicest Person, but not exactly evil either. Well, YMMV on that one, but the Point is that his Dutifulness and Righteousness (as well as his lack of understanding for others and his very literal minded Approach to Things ... and his unwillingness to make compromises... and his willingness to use dubious means to get what he wants... you get the idea) will be mirrored by my first inquisitor's Approach to Leadership.
I was just joking, bro
Perhaps I went a little over the line hehe.

My female qunari knight-enchanter will be like Satsuki-sama from Kill La Kill.
My male human necromancer will just be a cool-headed Machiavellian type that utilizes his opportunity to build a power on Thedas that could rival any of the other greats.
I don't know what my female dwarven artificer will be like yet.

I think my first playthrough will be a failure, since im planning to play a reluctant, closed-off, human-disliking elven mage, who will care only about elves and will make quick irrational decisions based on her feelings. She will leave leadership to others, and Cassandra will have to force her to do her duty, whatever that is. I hope the game allows at least some choices for reluctant characters.
The second playthrough will be a cliche hero of course since i will know the plot.

I'd like my Dalish Elf Mage to be diplomatic and noble, but my Lady Qunari Warrior will be the total opposite - more like Renegade Shep

Hmmm, for my canon playthrough, I'll tend to be the pragmatic base with compassion where I feel it possible. In other words, I'm the one who sacrificed the Council in ME, not because I wanted to, but I because I genuinely didn't know what it would take to destroy Sovereign and felt it wiser to husband my resources. That sort of Inquisitor.
I think though after a playthrough or two, it might be enormously entertaining to set up a "Game of Thrones" style world and then run the Inquisitor like a Joffrey Baratheon ... I don't know if I could stomach a full playthrough, but it might be entertaining to be that capriciously cruel for a while.

Depends on which background I pick.
But, at one point, I will play Drunken Dwarf and roll a die to determine my option. I imagine it will go over about as well as !NeutralShepard.

My Necromancer will be ruthless, he'll look at the map and decide what places he views as important to the Inquisition and he'll do anything to take them, if he has to sacrifice farmers and whatnot, he'll have no issue, if someone speaks up to him, he has no problem killing them. He will by loyal only to himself and his goals, no romances, no friends, just ruthless ambition.
My Dwarf Warrior will be more caring but far from a goody two shoes. They will still do whatever it takes to win, but if they have to sacrifice a village, they'll feel bad about it. I expect to build a solid relationship with Varric, if he's a LI I will be making my Dwarf female if he isn't I'll be male. The male might not find someone to love so he'll be harder, but still a completely different guy to my Necro.
Really looking forward to playing the Necromancer, I hope the choices we are faced with in the game allow me to play him as I envision him.

Likely will be playing a pragmatic espionage heavy Inquisitor. Not cold or cruel but certainly focused on his goal and is willing to let the few suffer for the good of the many.
If possible, will try to build up as much power as the Inquisition can get. Dem political power grabs better be in there.

She will be a put upon, reluctant leader, doing what needs to be done because no one else will. She tries to find a spot of happiness where she can.
