I originally thought Mass Effect 3's co-op was really boring. The RNG didn't help as I couldn't unlock anything decent for the longest time.

 

Thankfully, when I first quickmatched Gold (trying to adjust to higher difficulties) and played as a Volus, I ended up coming across Crossguard, Juggy and... someone else in that group (could have been either Dank or Blitz). I was very lucky in that regard because I ended up with a group of people who were friendly, talkative, had endless patience for me dying 10 times a wave and kept getting me advice.

 

If it weren't for them I probably wouldn't have bothered with the game past a month or so.

Nope, I just happen to have browsed past your GT... somewhere in the following mess of GamerTags - Velanna Frost, Evil Mastered, Argent Xero, ClydeInTheShell, ALTBOULI, HoochieHamiltoe - I'm pretty sure I've seen you listed.

 

Plus, I know some of the other BSNers have referenced you a couple times in the Parties I've been in. I'm usually with Blitzerheaven1, Crossguard73, Jugger Nuggss or Evil Mastered.

Does this guy still play? His videos are okay to watch, but I get the feeling he isn't that great of a player. Seems more like a goofball that gets his kicks through trolling others. Some of the builds and playstyles he suggests are quite weird.

No, he mostly uploads Dark Souls 2 and Dragon Age stuff now. Glad he found other communities to inflict himself upon.

Yeah, basically. Then he touts his builds/playstyles like they're the greatest thing since sliced bread, when they're really average at best.

I enjoyed ME-SP from the start, but I always had a point where I just wanted to skip all the conversations and just get to the battles. ME3MP let me do that.

 

Unfortunately now that I can only see enemies outlined in red via geth/geth scanner SP seems weird. >.<

I've seen a couple of his Dark Souls 2 videos, too. In both cases it seems like he's okay but probably not good enough to be telling other people how to play.
