If you know nothing, it's moderately helpful. If you know anything, you're pretty much at his level already. But at least his videos have commentary..

He hasn't done anything wrong, he actually made a point of avoiding this site and some people didn't take too kindly to that. I'm not a fan but I won't shove it down people's throats and lose my mind every time someone mentions his name.

I think Jumpin deserves way more credit tbh.

He created the first ME 3 multiplayer channel that was dedicated to helping new people understand the game and play it better. Nobody did what he was doing at the time (creating guides) so naturally he gained a huge following.

I'm not ashamed to say that I've watched some of his videos and did learn a great deal when I was new. His early Videos helped me understand team synergy better, combo explosions, effective builds etc.....

There is something called "target audience". His target audience was clearly not advanced players but newbies who needed help understanding some of the basics I mentioned above. His target always has been gold level even way after platinum came out. I never heard his boast about him being the best at least not on his vids. They were always very informative.

Most of you here have over 2 years of headknow"ll"edge of the game. You've tried every build and combo under the sun. Ofcourse his vids at this point will seem scrubby. It's easy to see his novice tactics and throw dirt at his work when yer filled with great headknowledge.

I'm sure he did his fair amount of chit talk in the past but that's of little importance imo. His channel was never meant for advanced players but merely served as a stepping stone for something greater to emerge.

Then came n7specops "INVADERONE".

He was the next great face of ME 3 multiplayer who brought dedicated team platinum guides that surpassed that of Jumpins gold guides. His target audience was more advanced players who were already comfortable with gold and ready to move up.

Then I came along and decided to creat the first dedicated solo/guide channel. Soloists being the smallest targeted audience, it made sense for my channel to be the smallest of the 3 but still no less impactful.

So there was the era of Jumpin, INVADERONE, and Caineghis

There are better commentators than INVADERONE and Jumpin and better soloers than me now. All 3 eras have long since past and will remain in the memories of many in the youtube community as great faces of ME 3.

No amount of hate or dirt will ever erase wat Jumpin has established with ME 3 multiplayer. Same goes for INVADERONE and myself.

Fair enough Cain. I also take the view that people who go to a lot of effort to help others with game  guides deserve some credit .

Meh. The only video I ever seriously watched was Sp3c7er's Destroyer solo. I try to click every video posted here to do my part as a community member and give support, but I very rarely ever watched any of them. That might be evidenced by my oddly successful reckless solo playstyle. As for jumpin, I never watched his videos but just now while I was finding Sp3c7er's video so I could spell his name properly I found jumpin's video "ME3 BEST BUILD EVER! (HIGHEST SCORE EVER?)" which to me just sounds like attention whoring (with the score only being 374k). I always thought cain and Invader's videos gave a lot of beneficial information that wasn't full of crap like "omg guise im so awesome". I'm basing that off of what I have noticed on the forums, the only videos I actually watched were the ones I was specifically asked about, and in those ones I saw how solid both players were.

Anyways, one thing I love that you guys do to keep me playing the game is presenting random challenges. Things like SF's QFE lvl 1 consumable vs Collectors Rio (which took 45 effing minutes), or Pull-only DV. Lots of silly stuff that I do just for the lulz. I also like the game mechanics hypothesizing that goes on. I'll take a good debate about mechanics over an e-peen contest any day.
