So I'm aware of the sticky grenade glitch where it does additional damage based on what ammo you're using, but the damage is also affected by what weapon you're using and whether or not that weapon uses slugs or pellets. I'm also aware that it's affected by if you're weapon has a hipfire penalty (it does more damage when zoomed in on a sniper rifle than if firing from the hip).

But I'm unable to find any hard numbers on the glitch (can't find any charts about it, and stuff like Kalence doesn't take it into account when calculating damage). Is there anywhere that calculates the damage on each weapon? I also had some other questions about it that i'm not sure if anyone can answer:

1. Does Sticky Grenade's armor damage evo increase the damage from the ammo bonus as well?

2. How do charge weapons like the Arc Pistol affect the glitch? Does it just calculate the extra damage based on a single shot of the weapon, or based on a charged shot?

3. Do weapons with extra effects do anything to sticky grenades? (example: the Acolyte does extra damage against shields. If I have it equipped, do my grenades also do extra damage against shields, since weapon damage affects the grenade's damage?)

I am afraid I do not have the answers you seek. I am looking to see if I can find any existing threads for you that may answer your questions.

In the meantime, I recommend asking this question in the multiplayer forums as it sees a lot more traffic and you may get answers more quickly from more knowledgeable players.

This is the way it works on Multiplayer, I assume it works the same way on SP:

When you "stick" a Sticky Grenade to a target, it applies the damage of the ammo power for the weapon you have equipped.  This is the same ammo damage that your weapon would inflict if it were fired.  To determine this damage, you can go into Kalence and look at your weapon's damage with the ammo equipped.  The "Ammo" damage listed is what your Sticky Grenade will be adding.  However, there are several things that affect this ammo power damage:

- The ammo damage is for a single shot of your gun, so for things like SMGs or Assault Rifles, this damage is going to be pretty small.

- For shotguns, a "single shot" is a single pellet.  So if you're using a traditional shotgun like the Claymore (which shoots 8 pellets), you are going to have to divide the ammo damage listed in Kalence by 8.  A Talon fires 6 pellets, so you divide by 6.  Etc.

- Most sniper rifles have a damage penalty if they are hip-fired.  This damage penalty applies to the ammo too.  The result is that if you throw the Grenade and you're not scoped in on your rifle, the ammo damage of the Sticky Grenade will get the hipfire penalty.  For guns like the Viper or Indra, this isn't a big deal.  For a gun like the Javelin, you can be costing yourself a lot of damage.

- The Incendiary or Disruptor ammo effects of the Sticky Grenade can also be detonated for a tech explosion.  The Grenade will self-detonate this explosion if you don't detonate it with another power first.

- Sorry, but I'm not sure how to calculate this for charged weapons, since they have weird mechanics.  My guess is that it will apply the ammo power based on the base (uncharged) damage.  I don't know if charging your weapon before you throw the Grenade will change this damage.
