Anyone here know the Italian writer Valerio Evangelisti and his fantasy series starring inquisitor Nicolas Eymerich? I've read the series in Italian but it seems to have been published in French, German and Spanish as well, so there's a good chance that other European Dragon Age fans have come across it. It's probably too old - the first book came out in 1994 - to have made it into ebook format, so it isn't exactly easy to get, though.
There are some interesting overlaps with Dragon Age concepts, like tears in the Veil that need to be plugged to keep demonic creatures from coming through...
Googling uncovered a website for a small adventure game called "Nicolas Eymerich, Inquisitor" which seems to based on Evangelisti's stories. I don't know anything about it beyond its description on the website, but since it seems to be available in English and Latin (!) as well I thought it was worth an honourable mention.
